It is estimated that about 90% of the population has parasites living in them. It's actually impossible not to! This is not "new age" folklore....this is fact! Years ago it used to be thought that the only way an American could aquire parasites is by going to South America (Brazil, Mexico etc....) or any other country that was believed to have unsafe water and/or food conditions by our standards......Well with all the illegal immigrants crossing our borders every day and working in our restaurant kitchens, it's no wonder to me why parasites are becoming a huge health problem! I've had quite a few friends get sick from this shit and I actually read something the other day in the newspaper about a roundworm epidemic happening right now amoung children! Scary shit but definitely real!

like everything the doctors and drug companies tell you is true too right? stop being ignorant and do some research; a good portion of popular conventional medicine was originally derived from herbal remedies, including various different types of heart medication. the 'mechanism of action' argument goes both ways; a doctor can't tell you exactly how panadol works, but he will recommend you to take it anyway, because he knows it's effective. it's the same with many herbal 'drugs' too. there are snakes on both sides. you gotta be weary of both, and keep an open mind.

Everyone has parasites. No one is claiming they don't exist.
Considering the fact that Dave was staying in nice hotels and not drinking river water or eating road kill, his Naturopath is just trying to get money out of him. He'll probably start wearing toxin collection pads on the bottoms of his feet at night to draw out all the contaminants. I just saw a commercial for them today.

Holistic/Homeopathic doctors are extremely inexpensive compared to allopathic doctors. He can probably treat his problem for a few hundred bucks and be completely cured as opposed to the tens of thousands of dollars people regularly spend on hospitals and drugs that 9/10 times don't cure shit!! It's highly unlikely that Dave Mustaine is being taken for his money on this one....these types of doctors are typically not in it for the money. The amount of touring Mustaine did over the years would make him a prime candidate for parasites. I have also heard of those foot pads but have no idea if they're bullshit or not. I couldn't give a shit less either but the concept definitely makes sense!

Bacteria is good, they help you fight disease and enable you to cakewalk things that would otherwise floor a health obsessive. This doesn't mean you should drink out of toilet bowls in India though of course. Most Western countries you are fine as long as you drink from taps that come from the water main and not the tanked water from the sink in the dressing room Dave! :)

When you go to such people and they tell you about all this shit you have in you... 1) they're probably just trying to make a buck with "natural healing" bullshit, and 2) they're right, cause there is a lot of crap in us. And there's nothing we can do about it. It doesn't matter how anal you are about keeping yourself clean or "protected," the shit is everywhere. And some things we call parasites and germs are actually beneficial (ie. have a symbiotic relationship with us or other animals/plants that effect us) ... so screw it, just don't put literal crap in your body, and hope for the best.
