ROBERT PLANT On ZEPPELIN Reunion Tour Rumors: 'You Never Know What Is Around The Corner' - Jan. 27, 2008
Jill Martin of MSG TV interviewed LED ZEPPELIN singer Robert Plant on Friday (January 25, 2008) during the halftime break of the Knicks and Sixers game at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Plant spoke about his most memorable performance at Madison Square Garden, his upcoming tour with and bluegrass superstar Alison Krauss, and the possibility of playing again with with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham. "You never know what is around the corner," was Robert's reply regarding the ZEPPELIN reunion tour rumors.

Watch the three-minute interview below.

A preview clip of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss performing the track "Gone, Gone, Gone (Done Moved On)" as part of the all-new episode of "CMT Crossroads: Robert Plant And Alison Krauss" can be viewed at this location.

"CMT Crossroads: Robert Plant And Alison Krauss" will premiere on Monday, February 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The two music icons perform songs from their "Raising Sand" album, including "Please Read the Letter" and "Rich Woman". The pair performed Alison Krauss and UNION STATION's "The Boy Who Wouldn't Hoe Corn", as well as LED ZEPPELIN classics "Black Dog" and "When the Levee Breaks". The pair also pay homage to THE EVERLY BROTHERS with their version of "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)". Special guest T Bone Burnett, acclaimed songwriter, performer and "Raising Sand" producer, joins in the onstage collaboration.

Plant and Krauss were recently nominated for a Grammy in the category of "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals" for the song "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)" from "Raising Sand".

I would love to see LZ tour again but if they don't, so be it. I would prefer to hear the intended album after "In Through the Out Door" instead. Page and Bonham said they wanted a guitar riff, rockin album to follow. New material to me is better than a tour of songs I have heard hundreds of times over....and still enjoy!

What was Robert Plant doing at the Garden anyway? If he was such a big Basketball fan, why would he bother showing up at a game between the Eastern Conference's two worst teams? Last I checked, Basketball wasn't really that big a sport in Great Britain. My thought is that he had to have met with MSG officials earlier in the day, and I'll bet it had nothing to do with Allison Krauss.

Kinck fans will give anything a "Standing O" these days they suck so bad. Plant comes off as a helleva nice patient guy in this interview. I like the shot of him watching the "Knick City" cheerleaders who could pretty much beat the Kicks at a game of basketball at this point. Man they suck.

Robert, you mean that YOU never know? Why don't you ask your manager and your attorney! They will know months in advance of any rock tour.

Rock isn't magic. It's all about the money. (Bands just don't walk into the studio, run into former band members and play as if they'd never been apart...)

Also, you seemed to know when your drummer died in 1980 and y'all said you'd NEVER perform again as Led Zeppelin.

They turned down $100 million in guaranteed money during the mid-ninties, and toured as Plant & Page instead. But idealism doesn't last long.
