DEICIDE: 'Till Death Do Us Part' Artwork Revealed - Feb. 6, 2008
Earache Records has revealed the cover artwork for DEICIDE's forthcoming album, "Till Death Do Us Part", tentatively due in April.

DEICIDE bassist/vocalist Glen Benton entered the doors of Morrisound studios in Tampa last December to record vocals for the CD.

Glen's greater focus and concentration has allowed him to record his vocals on songs like "Not As Long As We Both Shall Live" and "Till Death Do us Part" with greater ease than ever before. "We're rolling through the shit quickly," he said. "I've got a lot more power in my diaphragm and can do whole paragraphs (of lyrics) at a time."

The songs, however, have proved challenging enough that a even a rejuvenated Glen Benton would have to push himself to the very limit. "The lyrics are a lot faster," he explained. "I had to revamp my vocal stylings to do this...try different techniques."

Check out two photos of Glen Benton recording vocals for "Till Death Do Us Part" at Morrisound Studios:

That is a seriously funny and ugly album cover.

Couldn't they just show a horned/winged demon holding an axe, towering over a mountain range at night?

"You have selected 79: Deicide! If you know the name of the god or godess being murdered, press 1..."

Legion would have to be my favourite Deicide album, Once Upon the Cross is a close second. I think this new one will be good too, getting rid of the 2 Hoffman brothers was a good move.

Cool cover, but lose the embossing on the logo.

Bad graphic designer, BAD! ;)

Ralph Santolla rules. The cover is horrible. The patch is even worse.

My top four:

1. The Stench of Redemption
2. Once Upon The Cross
3. Legion
4. Insineratehymn

Take a joke fellas!
The cover is great, it's just that you're too simple to understand it.
I wish Glen was president. He's doing it for the lulz.

I think it's a bad cover. Metal 101.

Really looks retarded with the emboss photoshop logo and the "I'm trying to be shocking for the sake of it" bullshit.

If you want to shock, why not hire an actual artist to make a real cover?

Music is what matters to me and I'm sure it's gonna be great, The Stench of Redemption was excellent.

BUT anyway the artwork is good indeed, it reminds me of the Renaissance period. Not that you troglodytes can tell.

Love your reviews on Amazon btw, I agree, very much a renaissance feel to the work. I like it. This is the best period of Deicide ever. Just wish they'd tour more.

is lame... but they did release two decent albums called "Deicide" and "Legion".... "Amon Feasting The Beast" was great too. As I got older though its more like a gimick band to me due to Glen and his pathetic attempt at lyrics. Besides the fact that Deicide has screwed Houston and its local bands for years and I am sure countless other places as well.

Is one of those supposed to be Jesus. Isn't Jesus supposed to be on all Glen Benton album covers? Cuz we all know that when you hate something you should promote it right?

But who would approve that monstrosity?

Lol at all the people who think the cover reflects on the quality of the music. Cover is poor, yeah, but if this album is anything like Stench, it's gonna be great.
