SEVENDUST To Hit The Road With SALIVA - Mar. 3, 2008
According to The Pulse of Radio, SEVENDUST will hit the road this spring with SALIVA. Dates and venues for the trek will be announced in the weeks ahead. SALIVA is currently in the midst of a trek with DROWNING POOL, while SEVENDUST has yet to announce any tour dates on its own. SEVENDUST recently pulled out of its participation in this summer's inaugural Rockstar Energy Mayhem Tour, indicating in a statement that it canceled its involvement "due to changes in (the group's) touring schedule." The Rockstar Energy Mayhem Tour, featuring headliners DISTURBED and SLIPKNOT, is scheduled to kick off on July 9 in Seattle and will hit 30 North American cities.

SEVENDUST will release its new album, "Chapter VII: Hope & Sorrow", on April 1. The first single is called "Prodigal Son", while the disc features guest appearances from Chris Daughtry and members of ALTER BRIDGE.

Sevendust/Saliva would be a great bill IF Saliva didn't make progressively SOFTER albums every time. First record I loved, second, less but still liked it.. It's all gone down hill from there for me.. Pity really. Though that damn Ladies and Gentleman is pretty good.. the rest is like elevator music practicallly..

Stop trying to be radio friendly bitches :)

Sevendust rules.

I feel the same exact way about Sevendust, with Home being my favorite album...
I know you were just waiting to hear my opinion and feelings. God this forum crap makes everyone feel so g-damn important.

It's way too early for another Sevendust album! They need to drop Sonny Mayo and get someone that can write better. Both albums with him suck.

they can call this the 'We Were Almost Rock Stars in the Mid to Late 1990s' Tour. Sevendust's first album was the only one I can honestly define as good. Home was decent, the rest suck. Saliva doesn't even have a good album to hang its star on, just a bunch of radio friendly nu-metal ballots or rap-rock attempts.

Sevendust deserves to be headlining this tour and NOT playing with Saliva would also be a smart move. Every tour these guys get the shaft and 9 times out of 10 they're better than anyone on the bill. Its about time Sevendust gets the credit they deserve!

Sounds like an awesome tour. 7D is amazing live. I haven't had a chance to see Saliva yet. I still dig them, even though their last album was a big dissapointment.

And whoever says any of Sevendust's albums suck, you are most definately wrong.

This tour will definitely do more for them than the Slipknot and Disturbed stadium tour they dropped off of.

Sevendust meets with my approval. Saliva has missed the boat. I can never forgive the lead singer for doing the stupid Spiderman song with Nickelback guy. That was truly excruciating experience for my soul.

I agree with blacky656. every album they've made with sonny has suuucked. Some good songs here and there but not the whole package like home, animosity or seasones that when you start to play any of those you can call it a bad motherfucking album. as for the tour, they were better of in the bigger tour cause the would have been able to play for bigger crowds but maybe make less money so.....

Saliva sings about things coming back to you if you say it... the difference is that they give out curses for people that they have not met and curse them with who they have allowed themselves to be around.....then Sevendust sings about How can you live with yourself?

That to me is such a.....What's the word I'm trying to think of to compare the bands being on tour together. I'm sure it will be a good show to see but this is one that's just going to have to be thought about!
