THE ALMIGHTY Frontman To Open For DEF LEPPARD In California - Mar. 3, 2008

THE ALMIGHTY frontman Ricky Warwick will support DEF LEPPARD on April 27 at Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, California.

Commemorating 20 years of THE ALMIGHTY, the classic lineup of lead singer/rhythm guitarist Ricky Warwick, drummer Stumpy, lead guitarist Pete Friesen and bassist Floyd London filmed various gigs on the band's 20th anniversary January 2008 UK tour for a live DVD.

THE ALMIGHTY issued its first-ever comprehensive career retrospective, entitled "Anth'f**ing'ology (The Gospel According To...)", in CD/DVD format in February 2007 via Sanctuary/Castle. The set includes all of the band's thirteen UK singles plus bonus tracks taken from all of its seven studio albums to date. The DVD features all the promo videos for all the singles.

	I guy barely no one knows about playing alone with his guitar. He opened for def leppard on the X tour just him and his quitar and no one cared and i mean literally no one. At least let him bring a band on with him.

	on their X tour and he's the biggest fucking idiot I know...it was a college amplitheater so they didn't serve alcohol, but he's up there singing and strumming his guitar and after every song he's say Cheers, drink up mates! And the whole fucking crowd just kept booing him...I guess he didn't know it was a dry concert...a total Spinal Tap moment.

	Saw Montrose open for Leppard in Jacksonville Fla.....wow he was great. Dont know who the singer was but he was good too. Played almost the entire debut album...sweet!
