ABIGAIL WILLIAMS: New Album Title Announced - Mar. 6, 2008
North American black metal band ABIGAIL WILLIAMS has set "In The Shadow Of A Thousands Suns" as the title of its new album, due this summer via Candlelight Records. The recording sessions have commenced in Notodden, Norway, with guest drummer Trym (EMPEROR, ZYKLON) laying down tracks at Akkerhaugen Lydstudio with engineer Thorbjørn Akkerhuagen (EMPEROR, ZYKLON, WINDIR). Once the drum tracks are complete, the rituals will continue in the American Southeast with producer James Murphy, at his own SafeHouse Production studio, for the remainder of the recording and mixdown.

A new pre-production demo, titled "Floods" has been posted on the ABIGAIL WILLIAMS MySpace page. The demo version of the song was recorded with Zach Gibson on drums, but the finished album cut will feature Trym.

ABIGAIL WILLIAMS last year completed a U.S. tour with LIGHT THIS CITY, CATTLE DECAPITATION, MALEVOLENT CREATION, and headliners VADER.

ABIGAIL WILLIAMS released its debut EP, "Legend", via Candlelight Records last year.

I hope that was merely an error on Blabbermouth's behalf.

I really hope this band improves for this album. I would like to think that it must be quite good since the mighty Tyrm is playing with them.
