POISON, SEBASTIAN BACH, DOKKEN To Team Up For Summer Tour - Mar. 8, 2008
BLABBERMOUTH.NET can reveal that POISON, SEBASTIAN BACH and DOKKEN will team up for a U.S. tour this summer. POISON will headline the trek, with SEBASTIAN BACH and DOKKEN rotating the opening slot. So far only one date is available: Saturday, August 23 at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk in Universal City, California.

As previously reported, POISON will perform at the Rock2Wgtn music festival, which is scheduled to take place March 22-23 at Westpac Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand. Also scheduled to appear are WHITESNAKE, ALICE COOPER, OZZY OSBOURNE, KISS and LORDI.

POISON's album of cover songs, "Poison'd!", sold 21,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release in June 2007 to debut at position No. 32 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD presents the band's first new studio recordings since 2002's "Hollyweird". Produced by Don Was at Hensen Recording Studios in Hollywood, "Poison'd" packs 13 explosive tracks, including new recordings of DAVID BOWIE's "Suffragette City", THE CARS' "You're Just What I Needed", THE ROMANTICS' "What I Like About You", SWEET's "Little Willy", THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND's "Can't You See" and THE ROLLING STONES' "Dead Flowers". Some of POISON's best previously recorded covers are also featured on "Poison'd", including KISS' "Rock and Roll All Nite", GRAND FUNK RAILROAD's "We're An American Band" and LOGGINS AND MESSINA's "Your Mama Don't Dance".

on a big money opportunity - he could've reunited with Skid Row after the Super Bowl and done a song called "18 and 1".

they would've made a killing!

If Ozzy says Yes, I am sure Zakk will kick the shit out of everyone in Poison!

after Sebastian bitched for years about being lumped in with hair metal bands....he is touring with them.

See, Sebastian.....you always were hair metal!!!!!!

Just make sure you bring plenty of AquaNet and some copies of 'Angel Down".....maybe then you could actually sell some CDs.

Dokken and Poison have different fans, last time when they were paired, it didn't work. But I can see Dokken please Bach fans and vice versa, so as Meat Loaf said, two out of three ain't bad and this should be a solid tour. Dokken's new album is going to kick ass, it would be great if Baz joins Don onstage to sing "Kiss of Death" together!

I just knew you Immature guys would have a field day with this one. Personally I do not believe it. I can not see Baz playing with Poison, and I sure as hell am not going to believe everything I read on blabbermouth. But if for some reason it is true then good on him. He wants to bring Angel Down to his fans and he will do anything for us to hear it. also the fact if the matter is No Baz is not a hair band like Poison, never was and never will be he is metal thru and thru, but they do have many of the same fans. So to some fans it will be great if they where to play together. So go Baz show Bret how music is really done.

Baz could walk down any street and get any chick he wanted. you guys on the other hand could not organise a root in a brothel.

I am not Rachel Bolan or anyone who has spent time in Skid MARKS.

What I am however is someone who sees Sebastian Bierk for what he is. A HYPOCRITE, A HASBEEN, A DRUNK AND AN ASSHOLE(who throws bottles at innocent girl's faces).

That's hilarious Sebesatian is opening for Poison. LOL Guess he faced facts and realized that he is a "hair/glam" singer. I still can't believe he swallowed his pride enough to accept the invitation though. lol

...but i would've thought baz would've hooked up with the priest tour, but it looks like nostradamus is not going to be finished in time for the summer? i thought i had read that priest and heaven & hell were interested in touring together?

funny that a couple of years go, the tour was poison/vince neil/skid row (with solinger)... face it, money talks, and for what it's worth, poison can still draw 4-5000 in the amphitheaters (sometimes more, sometimes less), so yes, it's an opportunity to promote the cd for baz and make some money...

i'm surprised that promoters haven't come up with an 80s festival for the coasts (ny and la)...

That I am kinda dissapointed that Sebastian is going out on Tour with Poison and Dokken....I will back Sebastian any time on Blabbermouth but this is one time I tend to agree with some of the other posts on here...Baz could do way better than going out with Poison.

Please tell me George Lynch is gonna be on this bill. Otherwise, it's won't be worth a flip.

No Lynch? No Dokken.
No Jani? No Warrant.
No Baz? No Skid Row.
No Slash? No GnR.
No Taco Bell? No flatulence.
