NIKKI SIXX Admits He And KAT VON D Are 'Together'

MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has issued the following update:
"The studio has been flowing nicely. We [MÖTLEY CRÜE] were all together again today plotting, planning, designing, listening and the band seems to have the old bite back, but we will let you be the judge of that when it's time. I do know the people around us, the ones we can trust, are feeling the magic from the songs, so maybe it's not only in our heads? Aah ha.
"And yes, Kat [tattoo artist and television personality Kat Von D] and myself are together. Yes, we've been 'just' friends since last summer. She was going through a brutal divorce (as was I) and we were friends. Along the way, she met a great guy (Orbi) and we were friends through that too. They broke up and we were still 'just' friends… I've never had a friend become the girl. Yes, it caught us both by surprise, as I'm sure some of you. It's understandable; on her TV show, she is still in a relationship (welcome to TV… it's not live). Point being, we understand that some of you don't. It's cool… With that being said, we are very very happy together… I hope it shows in our art and music. Nothing is better for artists than complete connection.
"One last thing: when I felt myself falling for her, she was all walls and barigades [sic], an invisible bodyguard on call every time I even tried to allude to or use the evil smirk to get closer to her heart. So if you think bad of anyone, let it be me…
"Lost a dear friend (Bob Timmons) and saw how many people's lives he has touched. His time here was done and I feel good in knowing that's the destiny for us all. He taught me a lot about recovery and I hope to pass that. My time is up… It's the least we can do. Lead by sober example to those who still struggle…"

sell very well and the tour will bring in some major bucks and ppl will still call em washed up has beens.....oh well...coming soon to an arena near you....1 more thing nothing says "lady" more than a 6 ft amazon inked almost head 2 toe..come on nikki...u can do better...

Nikki always "attempt" to sound "deep" in everthing he says/writes? For me it simply rings hollow. Always sounds forced and like he is trying to be something he simply isn't. Nikki you were an good songwriter, and the book was kinda tough to believe and surprisingly coherent for a junky up at all hours of the night. I give you the benefit of the doubt because you have acheived something doing what you love and not slaving away at some work a day job like the rest of us poor slobs. However, this doens't annoint you the chosen one just buys you a couple "gimmee's" now and again. Stick to writing songs, stay away from the literary world and concentrate on fine tuning the CRUE to bring the pain on tour.

Spot on man, Nikki should be focusing on making some good music with the Crue. The album better be good, it needs to be good. I am a big Crue fan, but damn, I have been watching them play the same songs for years now. If they would get there shit together, and work towards making a grerat album, they could easily be great again, but if this record bottoms out, that will probably be the end of them. I think they still have it, if they would just leave the media alone, but then again, this is the Motley were talking about. The media always seem to find them, just seems like they are making it real easy to be found now a days.

Though, I do have to say, I think it's great that they're "together". She's a better fit for him because she has actual talent, unlike the other women he was involved with. Hello....Vanity, Brandi Brandt & Donna D'Errico!
