MAX And IGOR CAVALERA Interviewed In Germany; Second Clip Posted Online - Mar. 18, 2008
SEPULTURA founding members and current CAVALERA CONSPIRACY collaborators Max Cavalera (guitar, vocals) and Igor Cavalera (drums) were interviewed by Rock Hard magazine during the duo's recent visit to Germany.

Watch the second three-minute clip below.

CAVALERA CONSPIRACY is the new project featuring Max and Igor alongside vocalist Joe Duplantier (bass) of the French progressive death metallers GOJIRA and SOULFLY guitarist Marc Rizzo.

CAVALERA CONSPIRACY's debut album, "Inflikted", will be released in North America on March 25 via Roadrunner Records (one day earlier internationally). Rex Brown (PANTERA, DOWN) makes a cameo bass appearance on one track. Another song is a collaboration between Max, Joe and Richie Cavalera (INCITE) on vocals.

These guys have made two good albums total, 'Arise' and 'Chaos AD' the rest has been utter crapola. Their arrogant attitudes really bug the crap out of me. You want heavy innovative albums, pick up Nile or Behemoth. You want washed up b-list crap buy some Cavalera Bros shit.

Have you heard Beneath The Remains, Dark Ages, Prophecy, Nailbomb? And from every interview I've seen over the last 15 years, the Cavalera brothers are as rea and cool as you get. Can't say I know enough Nile or Behemoth to critique them, but most death metal bands today owe a tip of the cap to early Sepultura.

What is know as and Nu-Metal has alot to do with the Sepultura RECORD " ROOTS" , and the First Soulfly album.

Ask the founding members of Slipknot.

Exhorder took thrash/ groove Metal one way...and " Far Beyond Driven" -- era PanterA went the other way with the Groove- Riff and gave it a little BOUNCE.

NuMetal was a reaction to everyone complaining bands sounded like Black Sabbath and Metallica, circa 1990 + 1991 ... so tons of bands in my local area, dropped the strings to sound closer to a bass guitar.

At first even bitched in 1990/1991..about EVERYONE sounding so much like Black Sabbath/ Metallica.

NuMetallers responed to your complaints and gave you something else to complain/ bitch/ whine about.

You did not want "METALLICA CLONES"...you want it, you got it !now JUMP THE FUCK UP !!!!!!!

The thrashers should been careful for what they wished for back then...!!

Thank god for me the first Edition of Sounds of Death, arrived with perfect timing...!!

You guys get real, if u want the cavaleras to sound exactly like they did on BtR and Arise.......FORGET IT, they've moved on they've developed different tastes etc.

CC is not groundbreaking, but is a great listen. Its fast, its heavy, cavalera style, HOW THE FUCK CAN U STILL COMPLAIN? Its the closest fucking thing ur gonna get to that old school thrash style, so quit whining.

Is it the lyrics ur crying about?? FUCK THE LYRICS, some of the best metal albums ever got the most cheesiest lyrics.....PAINKILLER anyone??

SO quit ur bitching u blabberidiots. The album is not nu-metal, nothing. Theres no roots influences at all. Its a great groove/thrash listen. Its not NILE, or Behemoth....its metal, CAVALERA STYLE, and thats fine with me.

HAIL CAVALERA

MORBID VISIONS Tradition for Death/ black metal addicts.

I found alot of cool artist with that like-mind, with a similar approach -- "Beneath The Reamins"...at the website.
