Re-issues are only good if the record is at least 10 yrs old. But then again they could of put the extra songs on an e.p. and called it River Runs Red Again EP

1989-1999 has all of this already... and woo hoo a couple live videos and music videos yay! NOT! Come on why even bother to have a DVD if you are only going to put 15 mins of material on it. If they had some sort of concert on there or something and remastered the album I could understand getting it. Though honestly I dig the raw mastering on this album anyways and it still stands the test of time. Road Runner is the king of the re-issue of every record as many times as they think they can con fans into buying it. The only worthy re-issues were the 25th Anniversary double disc editions they did a couple years ago those featuring good bonus material, remastering, and sometimes a DVD.

I actually just lost this CD about a year ago while moving, so Roadrunner wins this time and I'll buy the reissue.

This was one of the very first metal albums I ever bought when I was a kid, it's a classic.

I really don't see why anyone re-releases an album without a remastering of the tracks. I can't wait for the Opeth Still Life reissue, that should sound amazing remastered.

UGLY KICKED ASS! STILL DOES! Soul Searching Sun took years to fully get into but I like a lot of it now as well. Their last album "Broken Valley" or whatever was horrible.

Any time an album gets reissued, Roadrunner or not, you throw a hissy. This album is a classic that needs remastering. As far as whether or not that has happened, I believe so. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. However, I'm picking this up because I've been waiting for the reissue since....I don't know, last year when I first read about it? Plus, it's my favorite album. Ugly and Soul Searching Sun are great, but River Runs Red is LOA's best.

Ugly was just reissued recently with Soul Searching Sun as part of Roadrunner's Two From The Vault series. Look it up.
