BLEEDING THROUGH: New Album Title, Concept Revealed - Mar. 29, 2008
Orange County, California's BLEEDING THROUGH has set "Declaration" as the title of its fifth studio album, tentatively due in August via Trustkill Records. The follow-up to 2006's "The Truth" will be recorded beginning late March with producer Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, LAMB OF GOD, SOILWORK, DARKEST HOUR) and is said to be a "concept album" about the rigors of being away from home.

"Every song will be named after a different city or state," BLEEDING THROUGH frontman Brandan Schieppati tells Revolver in the magazine's May 2008 issue. "There are definitely places when we're traveling where every time we go there, we're like, 'Fuck, why do we have to be here?' Like, we'll be in France and all of a sudden we'll feel totally insignificant. You get the feeling that people's eyes are just burining a hole through you."

According to Schieppati, "Declaration" will be heavier than its predecessor. "I think it bridges the gap between 'The Truth' and [2003's] 'This Is Love, This Is Murderous'," he tells Revolver. "The melodies are darker, the riffs are heavier. We just wrote a really aggressive record that encompasses everything we've ever tried to do as a band and then raised the bar a notch or two."

I bet it's 40 minutes of crying about girls cleverly disguised as metalcore.

...but it seems like nothing more but slagging off cities for not very good reasons. Like this here...

"Like, we'll be in France and all of a sudden we'll feel totally insignificant. You get the feeling that people's eyes are just burining a hole through you."

Not a very good reason. I've been to France a few times, and I've never had that feeling. I call B.S. on Bleeding Through. Perhaps the French know how to identify a bunch of posers when they see them?

I accompanied my 19 year old sister to a HIM show in Minneapolis, MN last fall and Bleeding Through was the opener. I had never even heard of them before. Anyway, the keyboardist is hot as hell and after the show they were all just hanging out in the club as it was a Halloween party afterward. She was the only thing that really interested me during the whole show so when I saw her afterward I went up to her and chatted it up for a while.

That fuckng Shitpatty guy was totally staring me down from across the room like you wouldn't believe, just because I was talking to her and we were laughing together and stuff. It wasn't till a little later that I noticed those two kissing, etc, and when I saw that they were an item...

Anyway, this douche should quit pissing and moaning about people burning a hole in him with their eyes, because he likes to burn plenty of holes himself. Guess what dude, your not that special and your not that famous yet... get over yourself!!! Half the people who you are all paranoid about "looking at you", probably aren't, and most probaly don't even know who the hell you are, or care who you are!!!!

The only thing they probably are interested in is that gorgeous piece of ass by yourside so deal with it!!!! That's why she's in the band right?? To garner you some more attention...

...Marta (that woman keybordist) is probably only in the band to be in with the trend of having a goth in the group.

And if Bleeding Through slag off Portsmouth (England), for no reason, I will bother my arse to amputate all the band members' limbs that they need to play their instruments:

the guitarists' and bassists's arms
the keyboardist's haircut and fingers
the drummer's arms and legs, and
this loser Brendan's voice box

...by using an ice-cream scoop (for the voice box) and a bread knife (everything else), in a fashion best described by Cannibal Corpse lyrics.

Im not sure what you THINK you saw... but Marta is married to an Australian dude and has never been romantically linked to anybody else in the band.

What the hell is going on here? lol. It's like Bleeding Through has a tv special on E! Anyone else have any juicy tidbits about the band? haha. Anyway, I like all 3 of their albums. They're ok. I really enough them live though. Energetic and fun to scream the lyrics too. Keep it up dudes.
