HEAVEN AND HELL, JUDAS PRIEST, MOTÖRHEAD, TESTAMENT: First Dates Revealed?

Pollstar.com — the companion web site of the concert industry's leading trade publication — has released what appear to be several dates for the forthcoming North American tour featuring HEAVEN AND HELL, JUDAS PRIEST, MOTÖRHEAD and TESTAMENT. Although there has been no official confirmation regarding the much-rumored trek, Pollstar.com is currently listing the following TESTAMENT arena dates during the month of August: (***UPDATE: The dates have since been removed from the Pollstar.com web site.***) Aug. 07 - Bristow, VA @ Nissan Pavilion At Stone Ridge Aug. 09 - Holmdel, NJ @ PNC Bank Arts Center Aug. 10 - Wantagh, NY @ Nikon At Jones Beach Theater Aug. 13 - Toronto, ON @ The Molson Amphitheatre Aug. 15 - Uncasville, CT @ Mohegan Sun Aug. 16 - Burgettstown, PA @ Post-Gazette Pavilion Aug. 18 - Clarkston, MI @ DTE Energy Music Theatre Aug. 19 - Tinley Park, IL @ First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre **IMPORTANT**: The above-listed dates were provided by Pollstar and should be treated as a * rumor only* until officially confirmed by the bands involved with the tour or the tour's organizers, Live Nation. In an interview with "The Classic Metal Show" (listen to the audio below beginning around the 3:15 mark) which aired this past Saturday (March 29), JUDAS PRIEST singer Rob Halford stated about the trek, " Live Nation are promoting the tour, and I guess the professional way of dealing with this is to say that Live Nation will be making an official announcement probably a few days from now. But it's difficult to keep that kind of thing quiet 'cause… If it does happen, and it's looking very real, it's gonna be one of the biggest metal shows in the States this year. . . You have to wait for the official announcement because it has to be sanctioned by management and the lawyers in the suits and that other rubbish. But if we get what we are hoping to get, I think it's gonna be an absolutely sensational, killer American tour — 'cause it won't happen anywhere else in the world, this lineup. It'll just be for the States."

Please hold off on reporting anything until it's confirmed. I understand how exciting this rmour is and I'm anxious to know if the tour is going to come anywhere near me. However, the plethora of rumours that have been reported as "news" is just not conducive to the site's credibility.

A huge metal-stock/metal-fest.... freeekin the biggest show on earth!!!!
Priest Slayer Venom Anthrax Testament Death Flotsam & Jetsom Annihilator Anvil Killer Dwarfs Maiden Pantera (original woulda been amazing, so yeh , it'll never happen) Megadeth Exodus Sabbath Lamb Of God is very deserving... And I guess we could throw in Stryper cause someone needs to get beat up at every show right? And we'll get a really cool Norwegian Deat Metal band in cause they'll have fun beating up Stryper LOLOLOLOL :) :) we could probably find a few more , but what the hell, man, that would be a really kickass gig!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope Testament and Motorhead are the two openers so I can see them and leave. I don't know how much I'll care about seeing Priest and I still think Dio sucks.

As good as Testamnet is, I was hoping they would not be a part of this line-up. I would much rather see longer sets from the other three bands. And it is looking like much more than just a rumor - word is flying about from other and credible sources.

I hope Live Nation and the bands managment make the "official" announcement in like SOON, this anticipation is like eating me alive!
I know some people may not like some of the bands/musicians on this ticket for whatever reason. But you have to admit those which are on it are some of the most widely regarded in the business.

but if I were the singers in the bands I'd start getting my voice ready because frankly Halford, Ronnie are loosing quite a bit on the vocals side and like we need the high notes in the songs and not like 3 octaves below lol... but I am so there its not even funny. These tours and bands are becoming more precious as time passes by.
