DINO CAZARES, BURTON C. BELL 'Hanging Out' Together In Hollywood; Photo Available - Apr. 7, 2008
Former FEAR FACTORY bandmates Dino Cazares (guitar) and Burton C. Bell (vocals) were photographed "hanging out" together at last night's (Sunday, April 6) MINISTRY concert at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California.

Cazares' tenure with FEAR FACTORY ended in March 2002 after Bell announced his departure from the group, allegedly telling his bandmates at the time, "Look, guys, I'm not into it anymore, I don't wanna play in the band anymore, I don't wanna play with you guys, and I especially don't wanna play with you, Dino."

FEAR FACTORY eventually reformed without Dino and released two more studio albums, 2004's "Archetype" and 2005's "Transgression".

In a September 2007 interview with MTV.com, Cazares — who currently heads up a new band called DIVINE HERESY — stated about his former group, "In the long run, I believe I came out the winner, and I feel that they have bastardized the name, and it's a completely different band, different style. I definitely carried the passion in that band, and my riffs, my style, they were very distinctive. I don't regret anything I created in FEAR FACTORY whatsoever. It will be part of my memory for the rest of my life. I believe I am continuing the legacy and keeping this metal torch alive and bringing it back with DIVINE HERESY. You can feel the hunger and passion in DIVINE HERESY, which I believe FEAR FACTORY has been missing, and is still missing to this day."

the last FF album Transgression was a slight disappointment, but... the Archetype album was fucking awesome. WAY better than the weak-assed Digimortal album (the last one with Dino).

They're not going to reunite. If anything, Burton is just now in the same place where Dino was 6 years ago.

Realizing that perhaps he's better off without FF.

OK, seriously. Are ANY projects that the FF guys involved with going to reach the popularity of FF?

Simply put, the answer is no.

Dino's project, Burton's project(s), Ray and Chris' project(s) are NEVER going to touch what FF is, was or ever will be.

So, either these guys hang it up and call it a day or they toil away making a fraction of what they were pulling in while playing in FF....or they get their shit together, reunite and earn a wad of cash doing it.

Shouldn't be that hard of a decision to make.

Given the past drama with this band, they've either buried the hatchet or they're reuniting because they're flat-fucking-broke.

Was the first time I ever saw FF and nothing has come close. It had to be one of their first gigs ever. It was brutal and raw as fuck. Truly one of the best moments in LA death metal history. Caught up with Dino at a DH gig when the opened for Shadows Fall and 3 Inches of Blood. This would be cool except it will never take the place of that first gig.

wouldnt it be cool if they DID NOT reunite.why? because then we could have ff and dh.
transgression was a bit of a let down, but not all bad and as for archetype that record destroys/slays/decimates. it is second only to soul of a new machine.

C.O.W. is just an imitator and not a real guitarist. Anything that involves him NOT on guitars is what it should be.

Probably the most surprising thing I will see today, if not the week. I'd be interested to see how this turns out, regardless of a "reunion" or not.

Transgression wasn't bad, but I burnt out on it quick and I'll still pop in the ol' Demanufacture more than that one.

I really don't think that FF need Dino back. I love both Archetype and Transgression. I'm fine with FF as they are, and if all the guys in the band get along I don't see the need to add Dino back into the lineup-- if only for fear of him becoming a malignancy in the eyes of the other members again.

Also, let's not get ahead of ourselves-- I don't believe in a million years that this hypothetical reunion would ever actually happen.
