STONE TEMPLE PILOTS To Record New Studio Album - Apr. 7, 2008
According to The Associated Press, the reunited STONE TEMPLE PILOTS on Monday (April 7) revealed the details of their 65-city tour, set to begin May 17 in Columbus, Ohio. As previously announced, the trek will kick off with a headlining appearance at the Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio. [The exact cities and dates will be released shortly.]

"The story's not finished," singer Scott Weiland told The Associated Press. "There's more to be revealed and more to be told."

"Guitarist Dean DeLeo said the band plans to record a new album after the tour, which is set to wrap in November. "

This is excellent news. Their later albums might not have sounded like Core, but they were still great.... far above most other rock bands in quality.

I'm not expecting Core/Purple again, but No. 4 is a severely underrated album. If we get a nice mix of Down, No Way Out, and Atlanta type songs I'm all for it.

....that would actually say the words "I hope (instert person's name here) dies a slow and painful death" needs some serious therapy. Anyone that wishes harm on another human being, not to mention death, is a sick and perverted loser that needs to take serious stock of their own life.

This guys behavior is getting worse, his drug habit will be out of control on this tour - Weiland probably THINKS that a tour with his old buddies STP will keep him clean, but he will be worse than ever I bet.

VR are secent guys - they don't need Weiland and his BS.

Lets hope that he OD's on this tour, finally - to show the kids that you really can't be a junkie forever.
