TESTAMENT Pulls Out Of SEATTLE SHREDFEST - Apr. 8, 2008
Veteran San Francisco Bay Area metallers TESTAMENT have pulled out of the second annual Seattle Shredfest due to "scheduling conflicts."

"While [this is] disappointing to their Northwest fans, we wish them the best and hope to be able to reconnect with them at Seattle Shredfest '09," said the Seattle Shredfest organizers. "Seattle Shredfest '08 will be moving onward, and will announce the new headliner of the show within the next few days."

This year's Seattle Shredfest will take place Saturday, May 17 at Studio Seven in Seattle, Washington.

Pre-sale ticket refunds will be automatically supplied to those who purchased their tickets directly through SeattleShredfest.com. Refunds for tickets purchased anywhere else will be available at their point of purchase.

TESTAMENT's new album, "The Formation of Damnation", is scheduled for release in North America on April 29 via Nuclear Blast Records. The cover artwork was created by Eliran Kantor and can be seen at this location.

I was going to watch mighty Testament back in 2000. Eight years ago. Bass Guitarist bailed and they never came to the Northwest. Sucked big time. I know they came to Tacoma two years ago or so but wasn't able to make it. Just bought two tickets for the Seattle gig knowing the show will kick butt and i had to get a refund after finding the news. Pacific Northwest screwed again. Maybe i'll watch them when they're 60 years old. If they come back at all. If they do and how many more years will us Seattle people have to wait. Thanks alot Testament.

Seattle's home to Grunge, not Thrash. They weren't selling enough tickets, so they just cancelled...
