SEPULTURA: Rehearsal Footage Of New Song Available - Apr. 10, 2008
Brazilian thrashers SEPULTURA will enter the studio next month to begin recording their new album for a tentative October 2008 release. The as-yet-untitled new CD will be based on the 1962 book "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess. "We will write our soundtrack for this story and Burgess' life will be an inspiration also to write the music, lyrics and for the artwork," guitarist Andreas Kisser previously stated.

Watch brand new video footage of SEPULTURA rehearsing a song for the forthcoming album below.

Kisser recently completed work on his solo debut, entitled "Hubris I & II". A two-disc set, it is tentatively scheduled for release later in the year via Holland's Mascot Records. The CD was recorded in part at A Voz do Brasil studio in São Paulo, Brazil.

Kisser previously stated about his upcoming solo album, "I'm very pleased with the result so far and I'm excited to hear it all done. It was a long process, a learning process and a great experience. It's a musical journey trough the influences I had for last 15 years of my life and at the same time it's very different from everything I did so far."

SEPULTURA's video for the song "Ostia" can be viewed on YouTube. The second clip from the Brazilian thrashers' "Dante XXI" album was shot at a studio in São Paulo, Brazil in March 2007 prior to the band's departure for their European tour. During the following week, the video crew and the main actor shot the outdoor scenes in downtown São Paulo. The script, which adapts the story from the book "The Divine Comedy" to the modern days, was directed by Geraldo Moraes.

I hope that there isn't a Sepultura reunion, i thought the last Sepultura album was one of their best, i would take it over Chaos A.D. People need to get over the fact that Max is gone and has been for so long. Sepultura is great, Soulfly is great, and now Cavalera Conspiracy is great! You got three kick-a** bands there, why screw it up and have knocked down to one? Cant wait for the new Sepultura album, sounds good so far from what i have heard, hopefully as good as the last one!

The current Sepultura band is far better than The Cavalera Conspiracy. Inflikted sounds uninspired and boring

i love the new sepultura, but i'm of the opinion they really should change the name, it's just... not.... sepultura, ya know?
the cavalera conspiracy isn't holding my attention though, so maybe these guys deserve it more.

sepultura, grave, sep, andreas and paulo metal band, whatever...

these guys have their own thing

FUCK THE NAME, WHO CARES?

For all you Cavalera fans (I'm one too!), you have THE CAVALERA CONSPIRACY... it's good enough.

Live with it!

I love both bands but I totally disagree about CC being uninspired. The stuff is totally strong and harder than I expected. Metal up your ass. Did you PAY for the album you heard anyway? I did.
