JUDAS PRIEST: Canada/Seattle Tour Dates Announced - Apr. 17, 2008
British heavy metal legends JUDAS PRIEST have announced the following Canadian (and Seattle) tour dates:

July 22 - WAMU Theatre - Seattle, WA
July 23 - Save On Foods Memorial Centre - Victoria, BC
July 24 - General Motors Place - Vancouver, BC
July 26 - McMahon Stadium - Calgary, AB (Monsters Of Rock)
July 27 - Shaw Conference Centre - Edmonton, AB
July 29 - Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon, SK
July 30 - MTS Centre - Winnipeg, MB

JUDAS PRIEST is strongly rumored to be teaming up with HEAVEN AND HELL, MOTÖRHEAD and TESTAMENT for a U.S. tour in August. Several unconfirmed dates for the trek were recently leaked via Pollstar.com, the companion web site of the concert industry's leading trade publication.

JUDAS PRIEST's upcoming tour will include shows where the group's entire "Nostradamus" album (based on the legendary 16th century prophet Nostradamus) will be performed as well as concerts featuring the band's classic songs.

JUDAS PRIEST will release its 16th studio album, "Nostradamus", June 17 via Epic in North America and a day earlier internationally. The double-disc set that tells the story of the 16th century prophet, Michel de Nostredame (whose name is often "Latinized" as Nostradamus) is PRIEST's first-ever concept album, and was recorded throughout 2006 and 2007 at Old Smithy Studio in the U.K.

As previously reported, JUDAS PRIEST's official web site has been updated with what appears to be a preview of the "Nostradamus" artwork. Check it out on the splash page of www.judaspriest.com.

It says 'and Seattle' to acknowledge that the Seattle date is the one American date out of the bunch. Seems pretty clear to me.

As usual? They skipped eastern Canada? Eastern Canada never get skipped.

Do you ever look to see that T.O. and Montreal get all the shows but us out in Alberta get skipped? This is the first time that these shows are coming to Calgary.

COMMENT | ontario is not eastern canada

Testament is also joining Priest on these dates so it's very likely that these are the tour dates for the Heaven/Priest/Motorhead/Testament tour.

Isn't WaMu Theater too small of a place for Priest to play? I'd still definitely go, though.

And what about that co-headlining tour with Heaven & Hell, Motorhead, and/or Testament??
