APOCALYPTICA Hires FUEL Singer For Roadwork - Apr. 21, 2008
According to The Pulse of Radio, APOCALYPTICA has enlisted FUEL frontman Toryn Green to handle lead vocals on the remainder of the Finnish cello quartet's current North American tour, which began on April 11 and continues through mid-May. The group initially enlisted vocalist Johnny Andrews (see clip below), who co-wrote the band's current single, "I'm Not Jesus", to sing on the trek, but Andrews has been replaced after just a handful of shows. In addition to "I'm Not Jesus", Andrews also co-wrote another track called "S.O.S. (Anything But Love)". Both tunes are from APOCALYPTICA's new album, "Worlds Collide", which arrived in stores in the U.S. last Tuesday (April 15).

The studio version of "I'm Not Jesus", which features STONE SOUR and SLIPKNOT vocalist Corey Taylor, is a Top 10 hit at rock radio.

Other guests on "Worlds Collide" include THREE DAYS GRACE frontman Adam Gontier, LACUNA COIL singer Cristina Scabbia, drummer Dave Lombardo from SLAYER and vocalist Till Lindemann of RAMMSTEIN.

APOCALYPTICA performs on Monday night (April 21) in Salt Lake City.

Watch footage of APOCALYPTICA performing with Johnny Andrews on April 10, 2008 at Hot Topic's City of Industry, California headquarters:

This guy wasn't the best choice for singing. I'm not saying that I could do better, but holy crap. Play it as an insturmental if you can't find someone that can handle vocals.

Wonder how the guy from Fuel is going to sound.

Well I guess his gig with the Doors didn't work out..

Good luck to him.

Yes, this guy is terrible.. In the immortal words of Mr. Ernie Scar, "I wouldn't pay money from my treaty check to see you! I'd rather go see Cher!"

COMMENT | ^^^^^^^ That was a different Fuel singer

Brett Scallions(ex-Fuel) was with Riders on the Storm....The Doors.

It's hard to keep up with Fuel vocalists(evidently a hot commodity)(sarcasm duly noted).

Find a damn singer for your band before you even recorded this album or your other albums. Front man is a pretty important part of a band.

Why can't this group be satisfied as a quartet with NO fucking singing or drums!?!?
