This album could cure cancer and I'd still avoid it.
Now working on their third decade of defecation.

I will assume Welcome To The Machine is not the Pink Floyd song, and This Ain't A Love Song is not a Bon Jovi cover. Shame about the lack of originality in the titles.
Mother Fucker Of The Year is neat though..

When I heard about the new Crue album, as much as I don't care for anything they've done (outside of "Livewire" and other stuff from "Shout at the Devil"), I tried to keep an open mind, thinking, "How bad could it be?" So I finally heard the "Saints" single towards the end of last week, and it's... awful. Not that Vince Neil is all that good to begin with (something the other members of the band have admitted), but he just sounds especially atrocious. The song itself seemed to stretched thirty seconds of thought into a four minute piece of music. To me, the sad part is that the press and the hardcore Motley Crue fans will eat this this up, just like my gullible, Metallica-loving ass did when "St. Anger" came out. This will, in turn, give Nikki and the gang (or should I say "Crue"? Ha ha ha...) an excuse to let their heads get bigger and put out more shit.

first of why would anybody named thrashmonger post on a crue story? this is a story about a band with talent that has been around over 25yrs. not about any of those no talent thrash bands you listen to. I guess your point is to piss off crue fans since nobody visits the stories about your loser groups. and anybody who starts out their post saying I haven't listened or been into them since the first 2 reords just needs to get a life and stop acting like he knows all about them. ok you don't like them now get out of here and move on losers!

Not bad for commercial "metal" or if you prefer, rock and roll. Of course Vince's vocals are doubled, it's the nature of this kind of hit single on TV and also the back vocals are PART OF THE SONG, and I gotta add that AT LEAST Vince really is singing, clearly. Some might not like his singing, big fucking deal. Squeal me a river. Others like cookie monster crap. So fucking what, lads?

but please god let "Welcome To The Machine" not be Pink Floyd cover (which it's most likely not)... Queensryche already tortured that song enough recently.
