In a brief period in '83 during love at first string recording sessions, Francis Bucholz & Herman Rarebell left the band, but shortly after they rejoined.

go and look it up, just type in Black Sabbath demos, and there you will find the whole record rough mix with the extra track that never made it on the record The Fallen (which should have made the record. Also posted is the Jeff Fenholt audition, The Star of India demo (aka Seventh Star) man those tracks are killer especially Danger Zone and Star of India.

youtube is great!!!

correctly reading the metal mags back in the day Herman Rarebell spent the whole recording in rehab and Bobby Rondenelli actually played on the record. Didnt know Frances wasnt involved in the band then. Maybe he didnt do the record niether. who knows

COMMENT | Fenholt, eh?

I'll have to check it out. I got a book by him talking about his conversion to Christianity and I knew a couple of guys who seen him speak at a church. I guess what he said was that stange experiences happenned when he was with w/ Sabbath. Whatever that means.
My brother has the live Sab show w/ Halford singing. I'll have to check that one out. I remember seeing a UFO live VHS for sale and the description said that Phil Mogg wasn't on it. OK, Shenker missing, well OK I can see that, but how can you have UFO w/o Mogg? Anyway, I would like to see more demos become available esp. on cd. I have the Breaker demos on that Accept DVD/audio disc. I used to have Anthrax demo #1 w/ Pestilence and Satan's wheels(my tape broke!) and still have the Exodus demos. Plus others that DID make it to cd like the Armored Saint demos (Nod to the old school) and the Death Dealer demos I have but I guess they'll be out on cd (if I can easily order them in the U.S. I'll do it.
And who's gonna put out that Priest song 'Mother's son' on cd? I have an old Scorps live show on cd (Uli years) maybe it's the same as a show I got on casette way back when, and I have the live JP from Reading on tape, so when will I get the CD???

COMMENT | Cool demos!

It is really cool to see how the songs come together. Armored Saint did a great job of this with Symbol of Salvation.

Am I hearing cowbell in Big City Nights? Gotta have more cowbell!!!!

COMMENT | You tube has the Running wild demos
