AT THE GATES: First Reunion Footage Posted Online - May 13, 2008
Reactivated Swedish metallers AT THE GATES played their first three shows since announcing their reunion May 8-11, 2008 as part of the Extreme The Dojo 20 Japanese tour also featuring THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, MAYHEM, PIG DESTROYER and INTO ETERNITY.

Interesting...the band that took death/thrash to a new level wears mostly doom and sludge t-shirts...Trouble and the almighty SWANS. I look forward to some doom/sludge inspired material on the next album then...

mosh pits belong in hardcore and thrash due to the breakdowns and riff tempo. People that mosh at death metal shows are just flailing about to no particular rythym, it always looks arkward and silly. You need a certain groove mosh the correct way.

That setlist is badass but it has too much new shit.
It could use some more tracks from the first two albums IMO.
