BRET MICHAELS: New Single Available For Streaming - May 22, 2008
POISON frontman Bret Michaels will release a new solo album, entitled "Rock My World", on June 3. The track listing for the CD — which appears to contain mostly previously released materal — is as follows:

01. Go That Far
02. Driven
03. Fallen
04. Raine
05. Bittersweet
06. Start Again
07. Songs Of Life
08. Strange Sensation
09. All I Ever Needed
10. Menace To Society
11. Right Now, Right Here
12. It's My Party

Check out the album's first single, "Go That Far", in streaming audio: Windows Media, Quicktime.

Michaels, the star of VH1's hit reality show "Rock Of Love With Bret Michaels 2", recently hit the network airwaves with special guest appearances on television's top talk shows like "Live with Regis and Kelly", "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien".

In addition to those accolades, late-night television staples such as "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Saturday Night Live" have also given a nod to "Rock Of Love" with featured skits. "Saturday Night Live" scored some of its highest ratings the week they did a 10-minute "Rock Of Love" sketch that was "dead-on perfect." One publication cited the great imitation as a definite indication that the "Saturday Night Live" staff had to be avid "Rock Of Love" viewers since they did such a great job with it!

Not only can you see Michaels on "Rock Of Love" this spring but you will also be able to read all about his life this fall when the singer's much-anticipated autobiography is released by renowned publishing house Simon & Schuster.

Does everything this guy does sound so Caucasian and uninspired? Bret has no true depth to his music. His music has always been very topical and one-dimensional in my eyes. I can’t listen to him without cringing anymore.
