ALICE COOPER: New Album Track Listing Revealed

According to a posting on the ALICE COOPER fan site SickThingsUK, Cooper will release his new album, "Along Came A Spider", in North America on July 29. The CD was co-produced by Greg Hampton and Danny Saber in Los Angeles. Alice recently told Billboard.biz that his forthcoming LP is "a real ' Alice' album. Conceptually, it's going to be pretty interesting." Cooper wouldn't reveal too many details, but said the album is based on a fictional serial killer named Spider, who wraps his victims in a silk web. "Every song is sort of a letter to the police," he explains. "They think they're investigating it from the outside, but he's actually woven them into the whole thing." You know, if people have to bash Alice Cooper, I'd really love to see all these big mouth wannabe douchebags have a career that's 40+ years and still going strong.
Anyhow, this album is going to be great. Alice Cooper NEVER disappoints....never ever.

Last time around, I almost, almost thought the "Dirty Diamonds" was not gonna be as great as poeple would be saying.
Turns out "Dirty Diamonds" is one of the BEST fucking COOPER album ever done, at least IMHO.

I think that's the point. Alice did mention wanting the upcoming show to sound like some kind of serial thriller. In theory, it makes an interesting concert. Hopefully he'll be successful with the album and tour.

I mine too. Almost every artist loses the ability to write good songs after five or six records. Alice Cooper comes back after three decades and 20 albums or so of pure shit and puts out an astonishing album. Must be something for the guys at Guiness.

I'd love to hear some "Zipper Catches Skin"....on tour this time. I won't hold my breath, but ya never know.
If anyone can pull off a good Conceptual CD it is Alice. "Along Came a Spider" <-- Great CD Title.
Can't wait.
