METALLICA In Talks To Play Israel In September

Ynetnews reports that METALLICA is in talks to play Nokia Stadium in Yad Eliyahu, Tel Aviv, Israel in Sepember. This will not be METALLICA's first time performing in Israel. In 1993, the band members had their first-ever concert at the Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv. Six years later, METALLICA returned to Israel and performed at the Amphi-Park in Rishon Lezion. METALLICA, one of the most popular heavy metal bands to date is supposed to arrive in Israel as part of its European tour making its way to Russia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Germany, Turkey, Romania, Belgium, France and England. Nir Portzelina, Director-General of Sports operating the Nokia Stadium said in response, "We are indeed conducting negotiations surrounding METALLICA's arrival in Israel and we hope that they come to fruition. The outcome looks positive."

Metallica are a great band and are better than megadeth any day. I admit i dont like lars on drums tht much but the rest of the band are great and i a sure u most people would agree with me so shut it.

Hey there dumb fuck, if Metallica died when Cliff died, Metallica would not have been 1981-1989. Cliff got smashed to death in 86, get your facts straight you little high school fuck! Well, yeah, I guess metal is not allowed in those countries. That's pretty sad. But at the same time, I can't fathom that all Israelis want to oppress the Palestinian people. It seems some of those right wingers over there have too much influence in the government. My guess is that the Israelis who listen to metal are not the right wingers who keep developing in the West Bank. I have a feeling the right wingers don't listen to metal at all.
Hmmm... what if metal bands played combined shows for both Palestinians and Israelis... that would be cool.
