QUEENSRŸCHE: New Video Interview With GEOFF TATE Posted Online - June 15, 2008

Swiss-German online metal TV show "The Hard Way" conducted an interview earlier this month with QUEENSRŸCHE frontman Geoff Tate at the Rocksound Festival in Hutwill, Switzerland. Watch the 15-minute chat below.

According to AnybodyListening.net, QUEENSRŸCHE will perform with an orchestra (dubbed the "Empire Orchestra") for the first time ever on August 23, 2008 at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington. The concert will be part of Seattle station KISW 99.9 FM's Pain in the Grass 2008 event, also featuring SEETHER, SHINEDOWN, SEVENDUST, DROWNING POOL, JET BLACK STARE and EARSHOT. Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 21 through Ticketmaster.

	Where does it say, anywhere in that article, that they're going to play the entire Empire album with the orchestra? Empire orchestra is the name of the orchestra show for that night, not the setlist.

	Just saw Queensryche at Newcastle City Hall on Saturday night. I have to say, they were pretty impressive- they can really turn it on when they want to- my right ear's still ringing......eh?
