MÖTLEY CRÜE: Entire New Album Available For Streaming - June 16, 2008
MÖTLEY CRÜE's new album, "Saints of Los Angeles", is available for streaming in in its entirety at IHeartMusic.com.

MÖTLEY CRÜE headed back into the studio last month to record another song for "Saints of Los Angeles". As a result, the disc's U.S. release date had to be pushed back from June 17 to June 24. Bassist Nikki Sixx said in a statement that the idea for the new song, entitled "Goin'Out Swingin'", came about before the group's recent press conference, in which it announced this summer's "Crüe Fest" tour with PAPA ROACH, BUCKCHERRY, TRAPT and SIXX: A.M. Sixx explained, "Before our performance at the press conference, we were firing on all cylinders at sound check just jamming out, and that's when the new idea came. We quickly laid it down and went to the studio to record it, and liked it so much we pushed back the release one week so that we could get it onto the album — it now has 13 tracks. It's the ultimate song to end the record with and begin the new chapter of our career."

"Saints of Los Angeles" track listing:

01. L.A.M.F.
02. Face Down In The Dirt
03. What's It Gonna Take
04. Down At The Whisky
05. Saints Of Los Angeles
06. Mutherfucker Of The Year
07. The Animal In Me
08. Welcome To The Machine
09. Just Another Psycho
10. Chicks = Trouble
11. This Ain't A Love Song
12. White Trash Circus
13. Goin' Out Swingin'

An e-card for "Saints of Los Angeles", can be accessed at this location.

The album is loosely based on the band's memoir, "The Dirt", which was published in 2001. The CD will be the first to feature all four original members of the CRÜE since 1997's "Generation Swine".

"Crüe Fest" will kick off on July 1 in West Palm Beach, Florida, hitting 40 cities before wrapping up in late August.

MÖTLEY CRÜE will be the featured musical guests on CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" airing on Tuesday, June 24 at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT.

As previously reported, MÖTLEY CRÜE will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline", hosted by Bob Coburn, on Monday, June 16 at 11:30 p.m. EST/8:30 p.m. PST. Fans can talk live with MÖTLEY CRÜE by calling 800-344-ROCK (7625). To find a station near you or to listen to the show live via the Internet, go to www.rocklineradio.com.

MÖTLEY CRÜE will guest on "Larry King Live" on Friday, June 20. According to a posting on the show's web site, "Vince [Neil], Nikki [Sixx], Tommy [Lee] and Mick [Mars] [will] talk sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll and whatever you want to ask them. They're answering your emails and calls!"

CNN's longest-running interview program, "Larry King Live" airs live Monday – Sunday at 9:00 p.m. EST / 6:00 p.m. PST.

It's really awful. Same juvenile boring crap as New Tattoo. Absolutely can't believe this is the same band that wrote Wild Side, Primal Scream, Let Us Prey, etc.

It's just "bad boy rock" that's more blues than anything (think Theatre of Pain) -- and if blues bores you as much as it does me, stay away. The lyrics are painful. Awaiting a 3/10 review from Blabbermouth.

How in the name of FUCK, can you listen to this, and say "pure shit", or the other stupid shit you are saying this disc is. If you like good hard rock, then you will like this. I'm guessing that all of you that say you dont like this, already had it in your mind that you hate the Crue, so it didnt even get a fair chance. No, it is not speed, thrash, growling and screaming metal of any sort! But it is good hard rock. Some of you need to get a fucking life, you hate the Crue so much, yet you still take time to come on here and try to tell everyone else how much you hate them. Here's a tip for you, not everyone has the same taste as you. And just for the record, I think everything Motley has done in the past decade has been terrible, but this is vintage Motley Crue, like or not, and if not, then go fuck off somewhere else! It still amazes me, that with all of you on here that bash on them, there still more popular than any bullshit you listen to!

Actually, Crue lovers need to get one. They ALWAYS sucked. Their audience back in the day was a bunch of white trash hoes who stank of Marlboro Reds and Aquanet. They titled that album "Girls, Girls, Girls" because that's what their fanbase was.

So it's really funny to watch all these people talk about "classic crue" and the like. Is "Smokin In The Boys Room" classic? "Home Sweet Home" just rocks like a mutha, eh? And videos with goofy animated flying pentagrams hurtling towards the screen sure are cool. "Kickin Ass On The Wild Side" yeeeeaahhh! Rockin. Or just some lame ass hair metal. Take your pick.

Don't forget that a few months ago, the Crue was suing Tommy Lee for ruining their image with all of his goofy ass side projects and reality shows. Tommy was talking about how he was over rock music, and running all over the place demonstrating his weak-ass DJ skills. Wonder what made these guys change their minds?

Money, and lots of it. That's what. This album is the one of the biggest cash grabs in the history of rock. The Crue aren't badass. They're not kick-ass. They're middle aged men who realize that this is the last chance to stick their faces in the money-trough. And no disrespect to them, cause it makes plenty of sense. But all these people drooling over this album need to wake up and realize the truth.

And oh yeah...I am now convinced that SOLA is part of the Motley Crue street team.

Is it not MAYBE possible to know an album is made just for money, but still like it? The reasons behind EVERY album ever made is money, but hey, people want to believe that the bands they love are so full of intergrity etc etc, but we all need to eat, I mean, the guy pumpin gas isn't doin it coz he loves it, he's doin it to eat, but we all appreciate the gas he pumps! I personally play in a signed LA band, and it pays the bills, but it's not the EXACT music I would play by choice, but what the hell, I'm playin gigs, sellin records, so what the hell, enjoy ya day jobs guys:)

That's a fair point. But I'm not really talking about that. It is painfully obvious that these guys don't like each other. They would not be recording and touring now if they could succeed by themselves--but they can't. And they're getting old. So, despite the mutual animosity, they're putting up a front, gritting their teeth, and grabbing the loot while they can. Every album IS made for money--and hopefully, for other reasons too--but this reunion is so obviously phony and cash-dictated that it's hard for me to hold my tongue. Again, no hate towards the Crue, since it's obvious that they need the cash.

Again, let me say that I was between junior high and high school for motley era's theatre - feelgood and I can tell you that where Im from Motley's fanbase was everyone I knew. They were huge.It wasnt just girls or a certain kind of people. They also won every hard rock magazine award there was during that whole era and every video topped dial MTV.They were the biggest band in the world at that time.I was there.Thats why they are still such a part of so many fans.
secondly, let me say that this album sounds exactly like NONE of the other albums.there are ceratin riffs or other elemnts here or there that are familiar, but for the most part this is not like the other stuff.I cant compare it.Its too modern for the vintage albums, too heavy for feelgood, and about a hundred times better than swine or tattoo. Its maybe closer to swine but where swine had some really bad stinkers in the mix like beauty and glitter, this one has great tunes and average tunes.I only wish they would have done a few of the choruses differently. All in all, I say the album kicks ass...prolly 8/10

That's a bit of an overstatement. They were huge, yes. Their videos were unavoidable on MTV--that silly pentagram in the "Looks That Kill" video must have flown at me thousands of times. But in my neck of the woods, their fanbase was mostly burnout chicks. Metalheads and serious rock fans regarded them as a joke, which is why I am so surprised at how their return is being slobberred over by so many people here. Sure, they had some good pop-rock ditties. But they were by no means the defining rock band of their day--or even the most popular.

You can't argue that the Crue's fans were all chicks or red necks or whatever else some people say, they touched every type of person in the UK. But hey, some people love to hate! Personally, if I see a news article on a band I'm not into, I don't even read it, let alone start posting negative comments, but some people's lives are so empty n shallow that they have to piss on everything and everyone to try n make themselves feel validated. That's all blabbermouth seems to be, a validation board for people with nothing good to say! This is exactly how Motley Crue should sound in 2008. I'm really impressed. This is the best best CD they've released since Dr. Feelgood. I've always felt that Shout At The Devil was their best while Dr. Feelgood ran a close 2nd. This is right up there with those two releases. Motley Crue was one of the first bands to draw me into hard rock/metal around 1983. I was lucky enough to see them open for Ozzy during the Bark At The Moon tour. I had 2nd row floor seats and they were incredible.

For those who talk shit here, Motley Crue are just a really good rock band. If you don't like them then so be it but bashing the hell out of them just exemplifies your own ignorance. I'm no Motley Crue advocate by any means but you have to accept that everyone has different tastes.

This is horrible. The only people who are into this trash are the ones who are nostalgic for the good old days of 1985, when life was simple and all you worried about was putting on the hairspray and getting a buzz at the Crue concert. But wait! For around $100 per person, Live Nation is once again throwing a party with the Crue! Bad boys of rock, my ass. Keep your eye on the money, cause this abortion has nothing to do with music.

Live Nation knocks on the door with $100 million dollar pay-check. The Crue signs away all revenue on tickets, t-shirts, new music (see streaming turd above).

Around the same time as the contract is signed, Nikki Sux is appointed President of a new record company.

Also at this time, the movie based on The Dirt is in the early stages of developement.

Live Nation calls and says you owe us the first album before the summer tour. Nikki works with some co-writers and comes up with the theme based around The Dirt. They whip together some songs in a month, lay down the tracks and then call in the rest of the band to record over the demos, quickly. Cross marketing opportunity 1: The Dirt book, movie and songs based on the Dirt.

The Crue is now tied in with Live Nation for at least a few tours to pay off that $100 milllion. They know they can't sell out on their own over consectutive summers, so here comes CRUE FEST! Bands that are on Nikki Sux's label will rotate in and out over the next few years. Cross Marketing Opportunity 2.

One such band, is Suxx AM. Cross Marketing Opportunity 3: Six AM Album and Book.

Look for a live album based on this tour at the end of the year as part of the contract and probably another turd of an album to go along with next years Crue-Fest.

Once the $100 million is paid back, look for Tommy to go back to DJing and the Crue will be broken up once again.
