MÖTLEY CRÜE's 'Story' To Air On MuchMoreMusic - June 19, 2008
Canada's MuchMoreMusic will air "The Story Of Mötley Crüe" on Tuesday, June 24 at 9:00 p.m. and midnight EST (the morning of June 25).

The show's description reads as follows: "They've courted controversy for close to 3 decades and now the world's most notorious rock band is back for another round. The Story Of Mötley Crüe' tracks the group from the gutters of the Sunset Strip, to pioneers of glam and hair metal into self-made dirty-filthy millionaires with over 50 million albums sold. MÖTLEY's career careened downhill when the music business moved on without their genre and while they became known more for making headlines for their Hollywood hook-ups rather than for their music and while each member spiralled into his own personal hell of addiction, abuse and arrests. Miraculously MÖTLEY survived the car crashes, the changing industry, their own volatile relationships and the overindulgences in drugs, booze and girls, girls, girls. Now they are back and better than ever in 2008 with their own touring festival and first studio album with the original lineup in over 10 years. 'Saints Of Los Angeles'. This show boasts an exclusive new interview with the band at MÖTLEY CRÜE's private rehearsal space in L.A. granted only to MuchMoreMusic, rare commentary by Neil Strauss, author of the best-selling biography 'The Dirt' and archived moments that will make you want to wash your hands."

MÖTLEY CRÜE's new album, "Saints of Los Angeles", is available for streaming in in its entirety at IHeartMusic.com.

Due on June 24, the album is loosely based on the band's memoir, "The Dirt", which was published in 2001. The CD will be the first to feature all four original members of the CRÜE since 1997's "Generation Swine".

"Crüe Fest" will kick off on July 1 in West Palm Beach, Florida, hitting 40 cities before wrapping up in late August.

MÖTLEY CRÜE will be the featured musical guests on CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" airing on Tuesday, June 24 at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT.

MÖTLEY CRÜE will guest on "Larry King Live" on Friday, June 20. According to a posting on the show's web site, "Vince [Neil], Nikki [Sixx], Tommy [Lee] and Mick [Mars] [will] talk sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll and whatever you want to ask them. They're answering your emails and calls!"

CNN's longest-running interview program, "Larry King Live" airs live Monday – Sunday at 9:00 p.m. EST / 6:00 p.m. PST.

much more music - yeah...ok. Perhaps the 'candy-coated' version of "The Story Of Mötley Crüe" would be a more apt title.

You're totally right, but you forgot Nikki Sixx's ability to write some catchy choruses that gets stuck in your head for hours if not days.

Meanwhile those 4 ingredients helped made them one of the top 25 All time American rock bands.

Luck is very important in life. You can be in the best band in the whole universe, but if you don't cross the path of someone influential enough in the music business, there are slight chances that you're gonna make it. The opposite is also real, your band may be average, but if you're lucky enough to have someone influential totally freakin' out on your band you will make it.

Same goes for job interviews, in sports, everywhere.

You unlucky bastard!!!

True. But for the last 25 years, they enterntained me more than anybody else, wether it is for their music, shows and even off stage antics. Sometimes it takes the dumbest people to enterntain the bright ones.

These GUYS RULED THE 80's AND lived to tell about it .

This band is so much more than just their music. They lived the life of ROCK GODS and did not care if they had a hit record or not they just wanted to party! They are magical in concert AND ARE ALL ABOUT THE FANS. Give them the respect they have earned......When all is said and done they will have left a nice SCAR on the music industry.

My fiancee asked me who I wanted to see and I said Judas Priest/Motorhead/Heaven and Hell/Testament.

I did read The Dirt and while it was amusing at times,I can't honestly say I'd watch an entire movie on them let alone a VH1 type "Behind The Music" thing.
