Canada's
MuchMoreMusic will air
"The Story Of Mötley Crüe" on Tuesday, June 24 at 9:00 p.m. and midnight EST (the morning of June 25).
The show's description reads as follows: "They've courted controversy for close to 3 decades and now the world's most notorious rock band is back for another round.
The Story Of Mötley Crüe' tracks the group from the gutters of the Sunset Strip, to pioneers of glam and hair metal into self-made dirty-filthy millionaires with over 50 million albums sold.
MÖTLEY's career careened downhill when the music business moved on without their genre and while they became known more for making headlines for their Hollywood hook-ups rather than for their music and while each member spiralled into his own personal hell of addiction, abuse and arrests. Miraculously
MÖTLEY survived the car crashes, the changing industry, their own volatile relationships and the overindulgences in drugs, booze and girls, girls, girls. Now they are back and better than ever in 2008 with their own touring festival and first studio album with the original lineup in over 10 years.
'Saints Of Los Angeles'. This show boasts an exclusive new interview with the band at
MÖTLEY CRÜE's private rehearsal space in L.A. granted only to
MuchMoreMusic, rare commentary by
Neil Strauss, author of the best-selling biography
'The Dirt' and archived moments that will make you want to wash your hands."
