Reactivated CARCASS: More Footage From SWEDEN ROCK, HELLFEST Posted Online - June 22, 2008

Fan-filmed video footage of the reactivated British extreme metal pioneers CARCASS' first two performances — Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg, Sweden; and Friday, June 20, 2008 at Hellfest in Clisson, France — can be viewed below.

CARCASS' next concert will take place this coming Friday, June 27 at the Tuska festival in Helsinki, Finland.

In February of 1999, CARCASS drummer Ken Owen suffered a near-fatal brain hemorrhage, leaving him in a coma for over 10 months. As a result, he is not taking part in CARCASS' current reunion run (ARCH ENEMY skinsman Daniel Erlandsson is filling in), but will reportedly be traveling with the band whenever possible and making brief appearances at select shows.

	They were kind enough to sign my Heartwork CD booklet after their show in Amherst, Mass in 1994. Awesome band. Kick ass guys! I hope they will do a US tour, rot n' roll!

	necrot,swansong and heartwork are 3 brilliant records...swansong especially if one can look beyond the fact they were a grind band...brilliant melodies and song writting
