NINE INCH NAILS: New Rehearsal Footage Posted Online - June 25, 2008
Three separate video clips of NINE INCH NAILS rehearsing for their upcoming Lights In The Sky tour have been posted on the band's official web site and Pitchfork.tv. The footage, which was directed by Rob Sheridan, can be viewed below.

NINE INCH NAILS recently revealed details for the CD release of "The Slip", the band's latest album which was issued as a free download last month. According to FMQB, the CD will arrive on July 22 in North America as an individually numbered limited edition, packaged with a bonus DVD of live performances from the band's rehearsals for its upcoming summer tour. A vinyl edition of the record will be released two weeks later on August 5. NIN leader Trent Reznor also confirmed that the digital edition of "The Slip" "will remain free for download indefinitely" at NIN.com.

The international CD version of "The Slip" will not be a limited edition.

The previous NIN album, "Ghosts I - IV", was made available in March in a variety of digital and physical configurations, including a $300 "ultra-deluxe" limited edition that sold out almost immediately.

NINE INCH NAILS will begin a North American trek on July 25 at British Columbia's Pemberton Festival.

He'll give you the music for free, then allows you to decide if you want to spend money to see them live.

The tour will be sold out needless to say.

Trent Reznor cruises ahead while the dinosaur middle men are left wondering what the fuck happened.

I love this man, the future of music

I've never been hugely into NIN until recently. I think they're a step ahead of most bands. You know when you first start to really get into a band and you read up on their history and a lot of the things they've done - very clever.

I'm looking forward to the next record and checking more stuff out on them. If anyone has anything they recommend me getting, I'm all ears.

NIN never dissapoint live. I've seen them many of times over the years even on the Pretty Hate Machine tour back in 1989. Trent is a musical genius no doubt , Can't wait for the new NIN disc/tour.

I actually like the electronic stuff they've done too, only coz it's pretty dark in it's own right but I'll def check all that out.

I think reptile Is my favorite song of theirs that heavy on the electronic/Industrial sound. You should check that out if you haven't heard.

Closer is another good one.

They've got a huge back catalog of stuff and a huge majority of it is worth a listen.

Keep doin what your doin Trent.. You are the man.

i love NIN to death but geting rid of jeordie white and alex north because nin was to much of a "rock band" he said doesnt make any sense with this new record the slip he put out is pretty much more rock orientated than with teeth and year zero i geuss its cool he got the old guitarist back but i dont really think this new bass player fits in at all but none the less the slip is an awesome record and i enjoy it alot.

The sound of these live videos is fantastic. The bass player fits the band. I don't care what the fuck he looks like (bob dylan circa 1968) he sounds ok to me.

I think it's good he changes line ups so often. Keeps things fresh.

I wish he would release some more material.
This www. thing is great. There would be no way on earth any record company would have allowed him to release two records (one with 4 sides) in 3 months.

He will release more when he feels the need.
It's great, the more artists do this the better.

Hopefully Metallica's next release will be a return of form and they will fuck the record company off and go their own way.....

The more the merrier.

"The Downward Spiral" is an incredible album, but it's also so dark it becomes painful after several plays. I recommend it, but play it sparingly.

To echo what others have said, "Broken" and "Pretty Hate Machine" are great. My personal favorite NIN disc is "Year Zero." It's scary and menacing and despairing, yet oddly beautiful at times. It's a must-have, in my opinion.
