MÖTLEY CRÜE: Behind-The-Scenes Footage From 'David Letterman' Appearance Posted Online - June 26, 2008
Behind-the-scenes footage from MÖTLEY CRÜE's June 24, 2008 appearance on CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" can be viewed below. The band performed the title track of its new album, "Saints of Los Angeles", on the show.

Photos of the performance, which was taped Tuesday afternoon at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, can be found on the Wire Image web site.

According to Hits Daily Double (the companion web site of music industry tip sheet HITS), "Saints of Los Angeles" is poised to sell around 90,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release for a likely Top 4 debut on The Billboard 200 chart.

"Saints of Los Angeles" is MÖTLEY CRÜE's first studio album since 2000's "New Tattoo", which has sold a little over 200,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The band's last studio effort with all of its original members was 1997's "Generation Swine", which debuted and peaked at No. 4 on The Billboard 200, and has sold more than 300,000 units.

I would actually dig Motley Crue if Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx would quit the band and move to the jungles of Borneo so I never have to hear their names again.

But then, I guess it wouldn't really be Motley Crue then, would it?

Oh well, forget it. I guess I'll never dig MC.
