Can you please clarify this for me?: If roadrunner does not accept demos, how do you guys find new bands to sign?

hey amy, im a solo artist with a independantly made album, i was wondering what are the chances a record label like roadrunner to listen to my work, with all the demos and crap they get will they have time to listen? I was thinking of putting it all on cd then mailing it to them.

what is an "opendisc"?? Because its listed for the new opeth album on the 'releases' page and I dont wanna pre-order something without knowing what it is! Please answer me. Im not trying to be one of those assholes who always rip on you for no reason!! lol

Hello Amy - What is the difference between "Artists" and "Featured Artists" on the RR site's artist page? Do the featured ones have new releases and/or upcoming tours? BTW - Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hey Amy, just thought I'd give my two cents worth about the upcoming(hopefully...even though its awhile away) Killswitch album. Their past albums have been amazing, to say the least. That being said, there's still much room for improvement. First off, I think they should incorporate at least one breakdown per song.

wow that was a pretty arrogant statement. I actually used to think you were the best metal label on the planet but that's an opinion not a fact and not that you care, but I think ferret and nuclear blast are the best metal labels cuz a lot of your bands on roadrunner, if they have a lot of clean vocals, you edit out all of the screams for the single videos.
