I've been talking to allot of people and they all agree - Suffocation's "Breeding the Spawn" is an awesome album that requires a remix and a remaster to be enjoyed... and that they'd all be glad to buy a remixed/remastered version of this record.sm responds:
~ Please give this classic material what it deserves.
Thanks for the line and for the suggestion. Unfortunetly, remastering and remixing this record is a bigger project than we can undertake at the moment. Thanks again.

How much would it cost my band and I to be put under the ROADRUNNER RECORDS label.sm responds:
Thanks for the line but it wouldn't cost you anything. It wouldn't cost any band anything. Bands don't pay to get signed under a label. The label goes and signs the band, the band doesn't go to the label and pay them to get signed. If you want to get signed, start playing live shows and getting the word out about your band. That's the best place to start. It's not as easy as writing a check to get yourself signed. Thanks again.

This is probably an exercise in futility, but I just had to give it a trysm responds:
anyway.
I'm not your usual hard rock fan. I'm not some cute little young hottie
in tight jeans and a cut-off t-shirt, or any other revealing/seductive
attire. I'm a 38-year-old wife and mother of 2, but I'm absolutely crazy
about Nickelback. Our family doesn't have much disposable income, but as
soon as I heard that Nickelback might be coming to Cincinnati, Ohio on
tour, I told my husband that I really wanted to see them in concert.
I mentioned the concert again when I heard that the date had been
confirmed and made sure to tell my husband when I heard the date that the
tickets were going to be on sale. He told me to go ahead and get the
tickets. My 10-year-old son had a soccer game that Saturday morning, but
I stopped at the nearest Ticketmaster outlet as soon as the game was over.
I got the best 3 seats I could get (for me, my husband, and our
15-year-old daughter), which weren't great because the best seats had been
taken during the first two hours the tickets were on sale. I was a little
disappointed, but at least I was going to get to go to the concert.
Our family vacation was scheduled for the week before the concert. We had
rented a cabin on an island in South Carolina for a few days. I had
carried the concert tickets in my purse for weeks, but I was concerned
about carrying them around while we were on vacation. I didn't want to
take a chance on losing them or having them stolen. So I put the tickets
in a safe place.
Well, you probably guessed what happened. The day of the concert, I
started looking for the tickets where I thought I had put them, but I
couldn't find them. After tearing the house apart for over an hour, I
decided to try something else. I contacted Ticketmaster and explained the
situation to them. Their representative, Donnie, was wonderful. He
verified the date I had purchased the tickets, the store where I bought
them, and even the credit card I had used. Donnie started trying to
contact someone at Riverbend (the concert venue). He said he really
couldn't do anything without speaking to someone there. After trying for
15 minutes, Donnie came back on the phone with me and asked if we were
close to Riverbend. I told him that we weren't really close. Donnie said
the only thing he could suggest was for us to drive to Riverbend and have
someone at their box office contact Ticketmaster, Donnie if possible. With
no better solution, we drove to Riverbend, parked at the far end of the
parking lot because by now the concert was under way and everyone was
already there, and walked to the box office to give it a try.
We went to the will call window and explained to the lady there what had
happened. I told her that Donnie had been trying to call them for quite a
while but had only gotten a busy signal. She asked me what number he
used. I told her I didn't know because he apparently used whatever number
Ticketmaster had for Riverbend. I asked her if she could call
Ticketmaster and try to work out something for us. She said she couldn't
do that, that Ticketmaster had to call her. On Donnie's advise, I had
taken my cell phone. I called Ticketmaster and asked for Donnie. He
traded a call with another customer to try to help me. I updated him on
our situation and gave him the number the lady in the box office had given
me. Donnie said it was different than the number he had. He put me on
hold while he made the call.
Donnie called Riverbend and talked to a representative there. When he
came back on the phone with me, he told me that he thought he had had the
lady convinced to honor our tickets, but then he heard a voice in the
background. He assumed it was her supervisor telling her that she
couldn't do it. Riverbend wouldn't honor our tickets, even with the
Ticketmaster representative verifying all our information. I could have
shown her a picture ID if she had asked.
At any rate, we couldn't afford to buy more tickets. So we left. I felt
terrible. As I said before, we don't get to do a lot of things like that.
And to make matters worse, as we were walking back to our car, I could
hear Nickelback opening their set with "All of This." My heart sank, but
there was nothing else to do. I had given it my best shot.
It probably won't do any good to send this to you, but I was hoping that
you could pass it along to Chad, Mike, Ryan, and Ryan, just to let them
know that one of their biggest fans didn't get to attend their concert. As
disappointed as I am, my daughter was probably even more disappointed. It
was going to be her first concert. She came to love Nickelback too
because I play all four of their CD's constantly when we're driving
somewhere, and I let her watch the concert DVD that came with "Silver Side
Up." I know there's nothing that can be done about it now anyway. The
concert is over, and lord only knows where the band is now. I just wanted
to let them know that those 3 seats in the back weren't empty because we
didn't try to make it. Maybe we'll be able to catch them the next time
they're in town.
Thanks for your time. Somehow it helps just to think that someone might
read my e-mail and actually appreciate my disappointment. I really wanted
to see the guys in person, especially Chad. (I may be married, but I'm
not dead.) Thanks again.
Sorry but I stopped reading after you said you weren't "some cute little young hottie
in tight jeans and a cut-off t-shirt, or any other revealing/seductive
attire."
What was it you wanted again?
