Christ people, send us some interesting mail already.
Hi,Jeremy responds:
My daughter has established a relationship with a guy who says he is Joey Jordison. +Some of the information he has divulged about himself is inconsistent and I'd like to confirm if she is being told the truth. I have photos taken with him, my daughter and friends and family in Hawaii. From the photos attached can you please confirm or deny if this is really Joey?
Just a concerned parent,
Toni Wilson
While that may be a Joey Jordison, it is certainly not Joey Jordison from Slipknot and Murderdolls. For comparison, please take a look at the gentleman who is third from the left in the linked-to photo. Joey Jordison most certainly does not have a tan. That wouldn't be very metal. Joey Jordison
Good luck!
Email from Chris Robertson :
Just wondering if there was a way I could get a job working for blabbermouth.net posting and searching for news?Jeremy responds:
Why don't you try asking them?
Email from Benn Bodden :
Good afternoon, my name is Benn 26 (self taught in mixing and mastering software), and I am currently enrolled in the Trebas institute for the recording arts, but, before I spend a heavy tuition of 16,000 $ I need some answers. First off does one really need a degree when one has a very sharp ear and a clear vision of this industry when trying to obtain employment with a label, weather it be indipendent, or a recognized label?. I'm also very set on the fact that this was, is and always will be my dream and future career and I'm willing to give 100% of myself and my time to this cause, Not to mention the fact that I am a musician myself with an independent record already done. I was also responsible for all the albums mixing and mastering. But what I don't understand is why can I produce and album with little to no schooling in half the time opposed to a guy charging 100$ a song and still have a much more professional sound then the guy with a degree? Now don't get me wrong I understand the mechanics of having a degree, but in my case, I have rent and life to maintain, hell I'm living in Toronto and trying to stay alive in this city isn't easy, and its hard making a choice like this while knowing that this degree may not be needed.Jeremy responds:
I think if you got it, you got it.............Do I need to go too school?
I could peg you on the fact that one exclamation point will do. I could peg you on mispeelings, but that would be too easy. If you're that cocky and you think "you got it," then what the hell do you want our advice for? Drop out of school and try to get a job at a recording studio. But don't come back to me when it turns out we aren't always the best judge of our own work and you've ended up stocking tampons at the Safeway.
