Why I am one of Killswitch Engage's biggest fans.

In 2005 I had an issue of guitar world and had never never heard of KsE. I was reading an article that had a pic with a guy with a mohawk (Adam)and the other guitar player (Joel). Then my teacher came up from behind me and I thought shit! he's going to take my mag. Then he just said those guys are awesome. I didn't really think so, those guys were on top of each other and looked funny. I just laughed and kept reading. I decided to listen to them so I downloaded "When Darkness Falls", "The End of Heartache", and "Take This Oath". Fuck that shit was awesome. I closed my room's door turned up the volume and started banging my head to them These guys helped me transition to more heavier museic like Arch Enemy, Cannibal Corpse, and more Since then I bought the As Daylight Dies and As Daylight Dies Special Edition albums, I buy their shirts, and I keep looking for updates every single day. When I first heard that their next album was coming out I couldn't wait! As soon as they started the preordering I ordered it. KsE is a band that everyone should hear Their albums are not just one of those albums that only have one good song but are albums that in each song there's something different, you don't get bored and you can keep listening, repeating it without stopping. This band is not one of those bands that will be on the where are they now? list. Each album keeps getting better and better and hopefully the new album coming out is as good and better than the past albums. Good luck guys, I'll see you when you come to Tx.

Killswitch Engage truly is my favorite band.

The music that they produce touches my soul. Every verse, filled with brutal, tight guitars makes me want to break stuff and go ape shit, whilst every chorus makes me want to sing out aloud, even in a place like a bus or metro (it actually once happened...). I find it amazing how KSE can craft such a perfect balance of many different aspects of music into a single song, and still make it sound so damn good.

As pioneers of the now quite popular metalcore genre, KSE have truly created their own unique, distinguished sound. Their blend of melody and noise and superior musicianship towers over the competition and makes most new metal bands sound silly.

I honestly believe that I'm the biggest KSE fan out there. Even though if I don't win this competition, I'm still going to go out and buy the new record, but winning this would be an honor.

I'm the BIggEst Killswitch fan because their mayhemomatic chronic ditortive Metal shotgun blasts to my audio nerves and central nervous chords are such chaotic attacks that I almost feel like my ears are burning, bleeding, bashing, and begging for more sound. The ONLY reason I'll be at the Mayhem Tour this year will be to see Howard and the gang, and to see the Killswitch Engage Pittsburgh with their metal assault. The new self-titled is boss.

I´m killswitch engage

My wife hates heavy screaming music. I play it and it's like repelent. I love my wife but when I need some man space I crank up the KsE. I like the ambiguity of their lyrics. They are heavy, technical and postive - Not many bands in this genre are all three. Respect.

i went to all the concerts and have all the albums and i even have 5 posters of them. i know all there names-vocalist Howard Jones, bassist Mike D'Antonio, guitarists Joel Stroetzel and Adam Dutkiewicz, and drummer Justin Foley. they are from Westfield, Massachusetts created in 1999. i belive i should win. and they are my favorite band! They are amazing. When I first listened to them I thought they were just OK. Then I kept listening to them and they are my favorite band now. Their lyrics are great. I have been a fan of theres for many years now. I've tried to go to there conserts and I;ve never been able to. But this would be amazing to win. Killswitch Engage fr life!!!! and I see rock not just a headbangers type of music but an art. These guys bring the art out for people to see. I can look deeper into their music than anyone else. I am their number one biggest fan.
