Love it especially Kirisute Gomen and Shogun. As a guitarist I love the melody changes in Shogun, the way it starts off heavy and thrashy and halfway through it calms down and becomes more melodic and then speeds up and gets heavy towards the end. Kirisute Gomen is a personal favourite because of what it means when it is roughly translated to english and because I am a martial artist as well and I study Ju-Jitsu and Kobudo (the latter being the art of japanese weaponary including the samurai sword).

Absolutely awesome album from one of my favourite bands of all time, worth every cent. Id recommend this album to people who enjoy something heavy alongside melody.

I bought this album a while ago and unlike a lot of other so-called special edition CD/DVD releases (Slipknot), this one is actually well worth the extra few dollars. Especially because, being a guitarist/bassist myself, I have learnt how to play heaps of songs and "Down from The Sky" is now the song that everybody knows me by. As for the album itself, heaps of great tracks with no flaws, just like Ascendancy. Also a great cover of "Iron Maiden" in there too. the only thing i would have changed would be to put the lyrics in the booklet, but other than that it's perfect. Keep 'em coming Trivium!
