Roadrunner "Wither [Digital EP]" - Dream Theater

Im from serbia..I can't download that song....heheh:) But DT is my favorite band! :))

John and Mike do a good job of backing vocals but we all know they are gods on their instruments. I bought this just because DT is my favorite band and I'm pretty sure I have everything they've ever recorded including over 40 boots. Wither is awesome! Overall, this is worth having if you are a fan. (how can anyone not be :)

I think many of us forgot that those are "DEMO" versions....not to take so seriously!

Ok! I love John Petrucci / And I think you can here some electronic tuning going on here... Takes away from the mastery of his Artistry not to mention the actually chemistry of dream theater /James Labrie. Its the over all sound~ the flavor, The art! Whats up you guys? I sure hope its not an Ego or worse yet a Corporation Thing! Again I do love John petrucci!!!! And I love James laBrie, and well Mike Portney, james mylung & Jc Rudess ! All of the comments in here makes sense....I mean "ALL".

I've just listened to this 4 tracks and to be honest.... I'm not sure if I would pay for this release if this were on sale on CD format.

Of course I like DT a lot, and yes...the piano version is AWESOME.... & John's vocals were a big surprise (even with the auto-tune).

The choice is your's....buy it or not!!

Though Mike and John both have excellent voices, it's obvious vocals aren't their key talent and I don't think any fan would expect it to be considering their god status on drums & guitar. But it's interesting to hear them in these tunes: They definitely have excellent "backing vocal" voices.

The "piano" version of Wither (with James LaBrie's vocals) is really beautifully done, and mostly the reason I got this set.

I bought this set on Amazon using a credit, but I'm honestly not sure I'd pay $5 for the whole thing - only because I prefer the original tunes, not because any of them aren't worth the price. If you're interested, all but Mike's vocal version of "The Best of Times" are available on Amazon for $1 each. The "piano" version of Wither is absolutely worth that at least!

Unfortunately, it seems that only people from the US can download those songs. It's not available in the German store. I hope it will be added soon.

This is totally cool! I loved all the versions of "Wither". The piano is so gentle and peaceful. And the Petrucci sing it with power. I like it!

Dream Theater could sing the alphabet and I would buy it...love it!
