Roadrunner "Degradation Trip Vols. 1 & 2" - Jerry Cantrell

Earlier this year, Degradation Trip was released - 14 tracks from Cantrell's Degradation Trip writing sessions which took place in 1998. "In '98, I locked myself in my house, went out of my mind and wrote 25 songs,” says the then-fully-bearded Cantrell. "I rarely bathed during that period of writing, I sent out for food, I didn't really venture out of my house in three or four months. It was a hell of an experience."

Well, that full experience is coming to life. Degradation Trip Vols 1 & 2 is the complete writings and recordings, as originally intended by Jerry Cantrell. When Jerry came to Roadrunner late 2001/early 2002, he brought a 2 cd set with him. Degradation Trip Vols 1 & 2 is exactly what Jerry brought, exactly what we first heard, exactly what made us add Jerry to our roster.

Degradation Trip Vols 1 & 2 is 2 cd's filled 25 songs recorded by Jerry with Mike Bordin on drums (Faith No More, Ozzy) and Robert Trujillo on bass (Suicidal Tendancies, Ozzy). This is a limited edition offering, one which includes enhanced multi-media material, new artwork, and complete liner notes detailing this Trip's experience.
