Unleash the beasts, 3 Inches of Blood are ravaging cyber space with metallic cannonballs! On October 9th the band released an exclusive digital-only 3 song EP, Trial of Champions. The EP features the title track "Trial of Champions," b-side "Key to Oblivion" and "In The Time Of Job When Mannon Was A Yippie," a unique interpretation of the song originally performed by Lucifer's Friend. "Key to Oblivion" is a b-side track from the recording sessions for their recent Roadrunner Records full-length release, Fire Up the Blades, produced by Joey Jordison. The digital-only EP can be found via iTunes and other online outlets.

3 Inches of Blood are currently on tour with Shadows Fall and Divine Heresy, continuing to rally up legions of the Goatriders Horde. The band will head over to the UK and Spain for several early November performances, returning to the US on November 18th for a North American tour with Gwar. The tour will also include a hearty mix of eclectic acts such as Horse the Band, The End and Mensrea. Concluding on December 6th, the quaint tour will stir up a much-needed dose of sanity for the holiday madness!
