The "welcome home" concert in Des Moines was awesome. It was the best thing that my friends and I have ever gone to and we're going to remember this moment, because we waited ten years for it.

My fiance and I went to this show, damn near missed it because of an accident on I69, but we made it to the floor about 15 minutes before the mayhem began...and it was F****** AWESOME! What's better, it was my girls first metal show! What a way to pop the metal cherry! We had a photo taken by a Roadrunner employee on our way out, and my best friend even got lucky enough to get his hands on one of Root's picks...lucky bastard, lol. I've been "SIC" with it for years, and don't have any plans of changing! You guys rule, and I gotta' say thanks for yet another awesome show. Can't wait 'till you guys come through again, and neither can my girl! Peace!

bands with talent and anything that doesn't play on MTV!! Fuck all that mainstream bullshit. I hate on slipknot because they're fucking so mainstream now and rediculous! at one point, the masks and the outfits and that shit maybe was something to shout about. i use to think their shit was heavy as fuck but that lasted for 5 minutes and i looked to other bands with talent. bands who don't have members who just play with their balls, beat a drum and call themselves a member of the band. but like i said it's nothing more than nerds in suits trying to look scary. i'm sure they'll start a reality show too i bet. it'd only make sense for them. » » Close Comments » Report Abuse
