About the band: Humorous pop-punk bands are a mainstay of many large towns, so it takes something more for one to break into the mainstream. Enter the Wombats, a three-man cross between Art Brut's Wire-like fractured art-punk and Half Man Half Biscuit's wicked Liverpudlian humor. They comprise two native Liverpudlians; front man Matthew Murphy, provider of vocals, guitar and keyboards, drummer and b-vocalist Dan Haggis and bass and additional vocalist Tord Øverland Knudsen, a Norwegian who has made his home in the city. The three met at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. The school gave them the chance to play gigs to over 20,000 people in China. Now a thousand times that many people love them... madly.

Sheesh, I forgot how metal Roadrunner Records are these days.
Then you look at their UK site to see "Kill Hannah" and "Kids In Glass Houses". *sigh* Emo hair and girly singers, lovely. ?_?
