Metallica didn't go commercial, they wrote what they wanted to and had the balls to do what they wanted to do dipshit. Do I like all the stuff off of the black album, load, and reload, no, they had some good ideas but they weren't what a thrash lover would call complete, but thats what they wanted to do. it was all a matter of time before they were selling the big numbers. hey fuckface, its the way the music scene goes. thats whats fucking sad but true
