CKY GETTING CLOSER
ThePRP.com reports some news from CKY's Deron Miller:

CKY's Deron Miller has checked in with an update on the bands upcoming new album, it reads as follows:
"i never would have imagined it ever happening but we are 98% done tracking the new CKY record. all thats left is some finishing touches and a this and a that and then chad mixes it. ive been away for a while and wanted to check in and say hi. we're going to get in touch with you all soon but all im going to say about the new album right this second is...HOLY FUCKING SHIT."

I cant wait for this new album, the reason they havent released in ages, is cos they did actually split up 4 a while, but got back together.plus jess has been concentrating on things like Viking Skull.
I LOVE CKY. u cant take away ther past records an how awesome they are. CKY arent mainstream. i seriously cant wait for their next album to come out.an u no it will blow u face an pants off!

@ Bradley: Cky are influenced by all three of the bands you listed. Deron writes the music and lyrics and he is the biggest death metal fan you will ever meet. He cites bands like Death, Pestilence, Cynic and the three you listed as influeces and you can hear it in the music. So in a way it makes alot of sense for them to be on RR. Plus they're one of the heaviest "rock" bands you'll ever see live... almost metal.

Cky is fucking amazing live, i saw them back in 2002 with guns and roses in toronto. Its understandable that they took this long, they were (AGAIN) on the verge of breaking up about a year back... so maybe they wanted to re-ignite the flame a bit before stepping back in the studio

It is about time Cky put their album out. They have been signed to RR for like 2 years now and no album yet. RR is really getting under my skin signing these mainstream rock wannabe bands like Cky and Madina Lake. What ever happened to signing bands like Obituary, Suffocation, and Deicide?
