Now for the bitch session.. I TOTALLY agree with one of the poster's comments about releasing the music in only iTunes format. I too am one for TOTAL PRIVACY issues and iTunes is anything but a "privacy respecting" software tool; just the opposite in fact. All I can think of is that these bands, out on "renegade" labels such as this one must have very little options available to them to distribute their music (and I'm totally hip with this) than to succumb to the distribution pressures and simply go with whatever the web dictates dictates to be the "music player of the moment", which is currently iTunes.
I'm not about to load iTunes to listen to or buy this stuff, so I guess I'll have to wait for my next life.
Ciao.

Great Song, But I Downloaded The mp3 from Amazon.co.uk, you can also get it from play.com. As I hate itunes as well. » Add Comment » Close Comments » Report AbusePosted by: y8c616 | 06.14.2009
iTunes may be the music player of the moment, but it has also been that for the past 10 years or so, and shows no signs of slowing down. Ipod/itunes has become a dominant format because it is the most innovative and use friendly (way better than Microsoft's Zune pile of shite). Seeing as it is hte dominant format, bands on 'renegade labels' are doing the best thing business wise by distributing through itunes, as they can reach a wider audience. For the non-itunes minority, there is always amazon or play.com's mp3 service » Add Comment » Close Comments » Report AbusePosted by: danny ourso | 07.06.2009
I used to see Zebra in clubs out on the Island when I was like 15 (we're talking 1975). They KICKED A**. Dream Theater seems like a bunch of really down to earth guys (loved every minute of the Budokan DVD) so I'm really pleased that other LI'ers are paying Zebra homage.... I'd SURE like to see them cover "He's Makin' You The Fool" from 3.V. I got a kick out of Mike saying that they were an "80's Band". NOTTotally agree, Zebra very underated band and def one of my Fav's » Add Comment » Close Comments » Report Abuse
