I lived on Long Island and have met the band and i have to say they give one of the best live show i have ever seen. It is fantastic the dream theater is covering them

GO GET THE ZEBRA ALBUM! CLASSIC....BIG FAN OF ZEBRA....TALK ABOUT A VOCALIST THAT IS A MIX OF ROBERT PLANT AND KING DIAMOND! THEY ROCK! THANK-YOU DREAM THEATER FOR COVERING ONE OF THEIR SONGS!

Well, I wouldn't say this is one of my favorites. I'm not really much of a Zebra fan though, so I guess it's not too surprising. Not terrible, but not great...but hey, only one more of these before the album is finally released!!!

I heard about Zebra in the,70ties,was not reallie one of my favorites bands,but I,m curious ,bout the cover track.DT is my fav, band ,so let,s hear it later,and not buyin, it!got Dt,s album already ,but i have pre-orderd the new album,includes a big litho from the band.CU all./Rob-Rotterdam,holland.

I used to see Zebra in clubs out on the Island when I was like 15 (we're talking 1975). They KICKED A**. Dream Theater seems like a bunch of really down to earth guys (loved every minute of the Budokan DVD) so I'm really pleased that other LI'ers are paying Zebra homage.... I'd SURE like to see them cover "He's Makin' You The Fool" from 3.V. I got a kick out of Mike saying that they were an "80's Band". NOT. Too funny.

Now for the bitch session.. I TOTALLY agree with one of the poster's comments about releasing the music in only iTunes format. I too am one for TOTAL PRIVACY issues and iTunes is anything but a "privacy respecting" software tool; just the opposite in fact. All I can think of is that these bands, out on "renegade" labels such as this one must have very little options available to them to distribute their music (and I'm totally hip with this) than to succumb to the distribution pressures and simply go with whatever the web dictates dictates to be the "music player of the moment", which is currently iTunes.

I'm not about to load iTunes to listen to or buy this stuff, so I guess I'll have to wait for my next life.

I love Zebra, and I am so glad to see DT, my favorite band, do this cover. It seems like so few people have ever heard of Zebra. I've been listening to them since '84. They've only got four studio albums (last I heard) and one live album. JLB can't quite hit those highs like Randy Jackson can (few can), but it's still a great cover.

Cool. I've only heard a couple of Zebra songs... "Who's Behind the Door" comes to mind.

Can't wait to hear it... gonna go d/l it now! :)
