Why does it matter what Slipknot's masks look like? Bands evolve; they mature. Music evolves; it matures. Lyrically, Slipknot has gone so far. The title track's lyrics for "All Hope Is Gone" is quite possibly some of Corey Taylor's finest to date so far. We'll have to listen to what comes up next as soon as the release date of the new album. I believe 'Paul' wrote this: "this sucks balls give me some old school shit this sounds like emo music im 666 they sold out stay sic my ass cmon corey"... Hey, you're a complete and utter idiot. "I'm 666." What is that? How old are you? 14 and one of those rebellious children who tells his parents to fuck off every time they ask you to feed the cat? Learn to accept music for how it changes and evolves. Pay close attention...

Music, particularly, is about evolution and revolution. And Slip fuckin Knot rocks it harder than anyone else out there. Yeah they have changed up a bit on the new album but they are doing what they do best. Staying true to the music within. So stop fuckin whining bitches!!!

Slipknot has evolved as band. I just saw them at Mayhem in Dallas, Texas. They killed every other band that was there, especially crap ass disturbed. There were well over 25,000 people and we all wanted to see the mighty Slipknot do their thing. They played Psychosocial live and it was incredible. As for the haters, you will grow up and change with time, it is inevitable. I am glad that Stone Sour is Corey's other project because it shows a different side of his abilities.

i dont understand half of these comments. i can read them fine its just that most of you have lost your fucking minds. ive been a fan since mate feed kill repeat and yea slipknots gone through changes. and what band hasnt? its all part of the evolution of music and going to extremes that have not yet been explored. the music has to change or it will go nowhere and it will never lead to any good bands in the future. music evolves with time as everything else does. just accept it and enjoy it. im going to see them on aug. 13th i cant fucking wait. slipknot is and always will be fucking slipknot. its the same men with the same great minds and i love them for being able to express it so well. if you cant understand this then you shouldnt be listening to music at all.
