Lets see.... Corey taylor. Only guy whose lived who could have interested Me in Metal. I got the first album after hearing eyeless online in 1999*(as a 16 yearold). Never stopped loving the guys voice ever since.. He could bring out an album with the spice girls and I wouldn't give a fuck.. It reminds Me of how Stone sour caught My attention, if this band didn't have Corey taylor as the singer. They would mean nothing to Me, and I wouldn't give a fuck. Moving on.. Almost 10years later and nothings changed, I realise that the music is apart of what makes the 'Knot. It seems irealivent though when corey starts to sing. The exact same thing can be said for Chad grey of Mudvayne in My opinion, however chad is just the king.. And Corey taylor is fucking GOD. Other singers you might like to check out..Dez. Of DEVILDRIVER. Cliff. of DRY KILL LOGIC. And the new guy Matt. Of FACECAGE.. Just remember fuckers.. Without the voice a band is nothing, and the 8members of Slipknot who aren't Corey taylor.. they all fucking know that. Next time you need reminding what music2mosh2 means.. Let's just all face it, Slipknot is good if you don't have any appreciation for music. If you did appreciate music, you would take the time to research and find out that there are way way way more talented musicians out there; without gimmicks, like masks. My suggestions: Necrophagist, Between the Buried and Me, Glass Casket, Into the Moat, Pysopus. And anyone who says Slipknot is the heaviest band obviously hasn't heard very much metal, and that's a totally ignorant thing to say; but makes sense coming from people who probably live in trailer parks.....

every single one of you throw out good points. im with everyone. carcass and dying fetus are amazing, slipknot is incredible, and metalcore is the shit. what matters is the fact that every band is out there playing what we as rock/metal/death/hardcore lovers like to hear and get amped over. how many people actually read this and got stoked everytime someones favorite band was mentioned. did all the maggots not get pissed when brad said somethin about slipknot, and did all the death metal fans get pissed when someone said something about their bands. read an album cover, all the bands give thanks to the other fuckin bands because they all enjoyin playin OUR music and keepin us entertained. if it werent for cannibal corpse or deicide, modern hardcore wouldnt exist. or if there was no metallica or 90's metal slipknot wouldnt exist. for fucks sake if there wasnt 80's hair bands or 70's classics or even fuckin 50's blues none of this would exist. i agree with whoever said open your mind and listen. all fuckin music is about is how it makes YOU feel when you listen to it and being blown away completely when you hear that perfect fuckin band.

I've honestly only heard of one or two of the other bands others have mentioned. You guys can bash Slipknot all you want, if it gives you a purpose in life then by all means pursue that happiness. Me personally I have other things to do than bash a band.

Brad is the typical show off. Bashing on one band he doesn't like, because their musical career has gone farther than any of his favorite bands, such as Carcass. Brad bashed on Slipknot just because they showed up at the VMA's expecting to ahve a good time. Well what was Carcass doing anyways? Probably nothing, but it doesn't matter what they were doing anyways.
I think you (Brad) should just apprechiate Slipknot, because even though you don't consider them metal, there are millions of people that do. And they have had a much bigger impact on the world of metal than any bands you have mentioned. And they are deffinately talented (you didn't say they weren't, I'm just stating), there is no denying that.

Go to a job interview and tell the employer that your a "maggot".....it's definately something to be proud of....especially when the band and fans fucking suck......
