they have a live album out called "live acid" and i was wondering how the hell can i get a copy of that shit! please help me out ill pay top $ for it.
thanks a lot and keep the good shit coming !!!
CM responds:
you are right. It's no secret that they independently released a live show of theirs called LIVE ACID - A Live Recording of the band from the ACID PARTY "TogethermenT", held at an undisclosed warehouse in Costa Mesa, CA. As for where to get it? I can only suggest trying ebay or gemm.com.

Hey, what is not widely known is that they also put out another release (also independently). It's called "Rats Live On No Evil Star". It actually has some very cool shit on it. Again, hard to find. The only way I heard it was from a buddy here at work who got it off Ebay. It's True! Actually, a couple tracks on it were re-recorded for their upcoming Roadrunner debut.

interesting fact - "Rats Live On No Evil Star" is spelled the same forward AND backward. It's true!

oh, and the Anyone masterpiece comes out February 26th...

Email from Brett S, :
Just writing to say thanks for the DKL ep. It kicks major ass (like Scott Stapp, the guy from Creed). Can't wait to hear the new 36 Crazyfists, Killswitch Engage, and Coal Chamber albums. I'm out like a fat girl in dodgeball.

Brett S
CM responds:

You thank YOU Brett.

Email from Slipknot Fan :

Email from Terry L :
Would like to know if Roadrunner Records is excepting re'sume's for an Administrative Assistant position. Interested in working for A&R (Urban/Hip-Hop).

Thanks,

Terry L
CM responds:
Thanks for the interest Terry.
A couple things:
1) We do not have any Urban/Hip-Hop music artists on our roster here in the US.
2) Give me break! You are asking for job information with an email that has spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors? Are you kidding me? My advice, next time you send out such a request, use spell check and have a friend proof read your masterpiece! C'mon now! You are trying to sell yourself with these emails. In this case, you just sold yourself down the river.

As a trauma/ER nurse, I think "Never Again" should be considered as the next
release for Nickelback. The strong base line, hard core metal sound, and powerful lyrical message are an excellent depiction of the darkness that has plagued America for years. After seeing and caring for patients in such situations, this song with its explosive message should be released for everyone to consume. However, it is not as "catchy" as "How You Remind Me" the message is as strong as Live's "Lightning Crashes" and could be a musical release/therapy for the thousands maybe even millions of survivors of
domestic violence. Thank you for your consideration.
Brent
CM responds:
Brent,

thanks for the line. Ya know, "Never Again" was originally going to be the first single off SILVER SIDE UP. Well, it was always between "Never Again" and "How You Remind Me". On their trips, our radio cats here would play both songs for radio stations during meetings (way back before the album ever came out). Every radio station that heard the songs loved "How You Remind Me" more, so that was how the decision was made.

As you probably know by now, "Too Bad" is the 2nd single off the album...and is already starting to get some early radio play. However, don't rule out "Never Again" as the next single...I think a lot of people here share your view on that song.

Longtime LOA fan... Any chance of their "Unplugged" show being released as a video or better yet a DVD? Or anything else "in the archives" to be released
in the future that you know about?
Thanks,
Eric
CM responds:
ideas, ideas, ideas. Truthfully, there is nothing in the production pipeline right now or in the near future about any of your ideas. So, I'd say no. But, you truly never know. Stranger things have happened.
