I first got into Slipknot when I was 10. I constantly rocked out to them and turned up songs like " Heretic Anthem". I was a maggot from the first time I heard them
Now I am angry. I hear them all the time on the radio. Snuff and Dead Memories is played on KBear 101.5 here. I hate it. It's hard for me to take anything they do serious anymore. Where is shit like Iowa and the self-titled album.
I don't know who Slipknot is anymore.

when i first started listening to slipknot i found my favriot band instantly. Not to be a doushe but they need to go back to S/T mood on an upcoming cd. to go from Spit it out and people=Sh*t to Snuff and Till we die is ridiculous. i hear slipknot on 89x which is an alternative station and i see the sulfur and i die a little inside. AGAIN not to be a doushe but this is SLIPKNOT not STONESOUR

I THOUGHT THEY WERE MAKING (OR TRYING TO MAKE) ROCK/METAL TYPE OF MUSIC TOO MAINSTREAM AND "OUT THERE" WITH THE MASKS N STUFF.

NOW I LOVE 'EM? NOT MY FAVE BUT I APPRECIATE THEM.

well, the first time i heard slipknot, was in '99. i was 17 almost 18, my sons dad came home and was like "have you heard of this bad called Slipknot, they came out last month?" and i was like no, why? well he told me he got the c.d and put it on. i thought "phuck yeah, i want to see them in concert, you could just feel the aggression and energy flow through, your body just goes through a chain of emotions make you want to break shit." you just knew that this band was going to LAST. although my ex swore that they sucked, i kept their album, listened to it everyday. my nephew,at the time was like 7yrs old and said "auntie, can you put that louder, i cant hear it outside." then in may 2004, me and my almost 11yr old nephew went to our first ever slipknot concert at the universal amphitheater in universal studios as an early birthday gift. so far we have been to 3 or four of their concerts. they have been my favorite rock for 10 years. and for the past 2 years, they have been my 7ry old sons favorite band too. and i continue to buy their shit too.

The first time I head Slipknot, my brother was on Myspace and he was playing a song by them. I instantly loved them, and told my brother to get some more Slipknot on iTunes. It wasn't until a year later that I actually started listening to all their songs, and knowing the lyrics. Slipknot is my favorite band, and I am a true fan of theirs. Thank you Slipknot and I hope to go to some more concerts.

First time I heard Slipknot I was in high school and one of my friends was talking about them as if they were god, so I walked home thinking about them, I got home and turned on the TV to Kerrang the first song to come on was "Spit it Out" and I ended up breaking my bed from diveing on it and head banging whilst standing on it jumping, after that I went on the web stright on to youtube and listened to every song with the sub on until my parents got pissed. Slipknot is always on when I have a break up or when I get pissed and i now have every single album plus the unrealesed Crowz album.
Slipknot = Everything.

My first time ever hearing Slipknot, was at a ink shop exspo..I could hear a t.v but there were alot of folks but I was determined to see who this band was, it was something fresh and in your face. I asked about the video being played and I had to hear more, so I went out and bought my first cd and my collections grown and these guys came at a time where I was in hurting and upset and each song was my bandade It became my self prescribed medication. I remember many people back in the day say comments about the music, some told me they would never be big, that it was not what the metal seen was looking for, that it was going to fade and die out. I new they were all wrong and only time would show and 8yrs later here we are and Im still a devoted maggott!!! Thanks Slipknot for your true dedication to the metal, and the music you guys created and continue to create..
