GamersTemple.com recently sat down with Airbourne drummer Ryan O'Keeffe to talk about the Aussie band's affinity for gaming -- and gaming soundtracks.

Writes the site, "If you're a gamer, then it's quite likely that you've played a game with a track from Airbourne on the soundtrack. They're one of the heavy hitters for EA Trax and are a favorite on Rock Band. I had a chance to ask Ryan O'Keeffe a few questions on music and games, and here's what he had to say..."

On first pairing his music with video games, Ryan recalls, "I remember when we were younger we would make riffs to go with the game Road Rash."

The skinsman comments on his band's inclusion in the last three Madden games, saying, "Well, there's a lot of hard hitting in that sport, I think the two go together." But adds, "I would really like to see an AFL ( Aussie rules football ) game."

As for the band's personal gaming fascination, O'Keeffe ensures, "We do have a few game machines on the bus including a custom built PC game machine (Modern Warfare 2 looked ten times better on it than any other console)." And namechecks Deus ex 3, Just cause 2, Mafia 2, Crysis 2, Medal of Honor redux and Alpha protocol as games the band is stoked to play this year.

You can find Airbourne's ripping rock n' roll on the soundtracks for Madden NFL 10, NHL 10, Rock Band, Rock Band 2, and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010.

The band's sophomore album, No Guts. No Glory. is out on 4/20. Pre-order your copy now and listen to "Get Busy Livin'" below!
