We asked a bunch of our artists to fill out a brief survey telling us the highlights (and lowlights) of their year. Here's what The Amity Affliction bassist/clean singer Ahren Stringer had to say:
Best show you played: The Palace, Melbourne on our Australian headline tour.
Best show you saw: Every night watching Letlive on the Miss May I/Pierce the Veil co-headliner.
Favorite thing you ate/drank: I had the best Polish sausage ever in St. Petersburg while I was hammered.
Favorite song of 2012: Architects, "These Colours Don't Run."
Most interesting interview question you were asked this year: "What does The Amity Affliction mean?"
Place you visited for the first time: Cincinnati, what a lovely place!
Biggest celebrity you met: I didn't meet him 'cause I didn't even know his name but Howie Mandel (Deal Or No Deal) was sitting right by me at the airport.
Moment you wish you could "do over": In Pittsburgh, just recently, Dan and I started a song a whole four bars earlier than the rest of the band, it was very embarrassing.
Personal highlight of the year: Releasing a #1 record in Australia's ARIA charts!
