Last week ANYONE finished re-tracking their debut LP "IS YOU" with Mudrock (Godsmack) - who according to the band, brought out the true MAXIMUM ACID sound of ANYONE. The band is expected to go back to the studio in January for mixing. "The new recordings are totally edgy, and MAXIMUM. The band is elated!" tells bassist Static. interesting fact: ANYONE originally spent three months at London Bridge studios in Seattle recording the "IS YOU" LP. In a six day period last week, the band basically re-recorded the whole LP - ALL bass and guitar parts were done from scratch, as well as some vocals and drum tracks. These new recordings with Mudrock took place at Sound Image in Van Nuys, California, where pieces of work such as Nirvana's "Nevermind" was born. On a side note, for those of you in the LA area who were expecting to see ANYONE live at the 13th Floor Saturday night, make alternate plans. The show has been canceled due to the club's management anticipating too crazed of fans. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!
